I was very surprised about this pub, from the outside just looks dark and dingy but I went in for a look around. It was a lovely little pub just my kind of place, open fire, snug area in the back bar and even a beer garden that is a bit of a sun trap. Had a nice guest ale on. Can't wait to go back for more of a session.

Plastic, expensive no pleasantries all you can expect in a tourist trap like Dartmouth. Members of staff had no interest with or doing their jobs. Everything seems to much trouble.

Lovely Locals pub, with some friendly if quirky characters. Friendly staff. Introduced to the Standard by my best friend, who sadly passed away far too young unexpectedly.
