Lovely atmosphere with great staff and good old pub grub. The carvery is delicious and I would really recommend booking in to try for yourself.
We are regular clients and use the accommodation when family/ friends come to stay.

Rooms was small with loads of cobwebs. Beds extremely small and not comfy.

Needs bit of TLC. Room appears recently decorated though is basic, furniture felt cheap and incoherent, broken blind let light through window. Shower could be bit cleaner.
Courtyard area that rooms front onto is in a sorry state. Clearly could do with tidying and weeding etc.
Staff friendly. Breakfast fine, though slighly late on opening/starting than said.
Unfortunately in the current state, would stay elsewhere

Stopped here for lunch. Very pleasant welcome from the landlady. Lovely food and exceptionally good value (senior citizens special). Would definitely recommend.

We booked in for the carvery and we had a fantastic meal,cooked exactly how we like a roast to be.you get a choice of meats and all the trimmings and a choice of desserts.its reasonably priced and the staff are really friendly.we are already planning to go back.definitely worth a visit.

Nice space with fantastic, good-value Sunday roast, served carvery-style. Really enjoyed my lunch here. Only regrets are that Iwasn't drinking so I could not have a pint of Trawler Boys from Lowestoft ... and I forgot to take any cauliflower cheese ?

We had a carvery and it was hands down one of the best we have had. Great selection of meats, lots of veg, gravy and the Yorkshire was absolutely delicious. Lovely atmosphere and a great family pub. Would highly recommend but probably best to book.

We stopped today for dinner. Despite it being busy, a table was found for my group. I went for the large carvery and wow! They had beef, pork, turkey and gammon available (and I tried them all!) And it was all cooked beautifully. The portion ws absolutely huge considering it was only £15. The service was immediate and very friendly. Beautiful village pub with very friendly staff, really nice beer (especially the mulled ale!), and great quality food.

Wonderful sunday carvery...have been here a few times now.....£12.95 for a plate full of lovely home cooked food, friendly and welcoming staff who cannot do enough for you. Never seen the accommodation but the pub is lovely inside, the food a fabulous choice of gammon, beef, pork or turkey and plenty choice of cauliflower cheese and vegetables. Will be back.
