My colleagues and I eat here five days a week, and it?s always a pleasure. The staff are fantastic ? they know us by name and even remember our usual orders, which makes it feel like a home away from home while we?re working away. The food is consistently tasty, served hot, and very reasonably priced with generous portions. Their vegan and vegetarian options are also spot-on, whether you?re after a full breakfast or a bap.
Thank you to the whole team for looking after us so well over the past few months!

This is the second time we've been here.
We walked in and then first thing they did was apologise because there would a be a 20 minute wait for food.
Given that the cafe was packed (and we'd just walked in without booking) I don't think that 20 minutes would have been an unreasonable wait anyway but the fact that they felt the need to apologise was pretty good customer service.
Our breakfasts came pretty much bang on 20 minutes. Generous portions, tasted great etc - all fine.
But the reason I wanted to leave a review is because they weren just so nice im general.
We have a toddler and a 6 year old and as much as we tried, it's hard to control them.
But they were really understanding. Smiled and interacted with them, even though they were busy. And it didn?t feel put on.
So, yeah, would definitely recommend.

A great little Find. Looks like nothing but it?s a brilliant place for Some good or Takeaway. Staff always friendly and always has people there but not too busy that you are rushed. Good tasty food.

Even though this place is located in the middle of an industrial estate, the food and service are quite nice and not pricey. It's a quite welcoming place. Two weeks ago I had things to do in Leiston and asked people whether or not there was a proper place to sit, all truly suggested here. At first I drank a cuppa coffee, then I saw hi-vis wearing big and strong men eating with a great appetite, I ordered something. Yes, it was delicious. Everything has a taste of home-made meals, probably some family members run here and they still have a clean heart to serve with convenient prices.
If you come to Leiston, Bake 'N' Butty Cafe will probably be your next address.

Lovely old school cafe. Large and small breakfast both with coffee (nice coffee!) and toast for under £19. The breakfasts were fresh cooked and fantastic. Quality sausages- always my decider on a fry up!
Very clean as well. Set me up for the day.

Very poor service today girl was not interested in servicing or cleaning the tables down an wiping them over ordered food two coffees and one tea and three egg baguettes .two coffees came after ten minutes then she went off to play with some customers child .had to get up and ask for my tea .The cup was waiting to be filled the coment I got was I am now doing it. The baguettes came literally chucked on the table eggs were nice and golden but swimming greece which made the baguette soggy. First and last time I shall visit need to get new staff or train the ones you have got how to treat your customers.

Average expensive food in a cold room

Building is as generic as it can be, which isn?t bad just because it looks normal doesn?t mean it terrible, besides this cafe isn?t supposed to be that it?s supposed to be an ideal place for contractors and plant works alike. Coffee is really good and the chocolate they use absolutely brings it out, strangely it smells like marshmallows, a welcome one at that. Apart from the huge tomato the display of it is quite nice with a good verity. If you like sausages (ha) they use very large ones (haha), but I do think it?s the weakest part of the breakfast said pan dogs are a bit hard to chew through but hey still pretty good. Eggs are cooked perfectly runny which is impressive especially since they put them in perfect circles, bacon is nice average an all but still pretty good bit to salty for my taste . It comes with lucky number of 4 slices of toasts which is a rarity these days and is toasted perfectly . Beans are pretty good. Overall, pretty generic. But that?s not a critique, because I think the place is perfect as it is, it?s a good place to come by for a break or just wanting a decent breakfast, pricing isn?t that bad and you will be filled. Out of all the places I?ve been this was the place that made me full. Will definitely come again

Folks, let me tell you?this café is absolutely incredible! The Full English? PERFECTION! Best I?ve ever had, maybe the best in the world?people are saying it! The bacon? Crispy. The eggs? Cooked to absolute perfection. The service? Tremendous! Fast, friendly, total pros. If you?re not eating here, you?re making a HUGE mistake. Believe me, this place is WINNING!

£6.75 for a sausage and cheese sandwich !! Pay less in Knightsbridge. And we?re overcooked . Disgraceful.
