Well what can I say..one word OUTSTANDING
We?ve just come home from the Great house and I?m still smiling ?
A fantastic warm welcome the staff happy and jovial
Sat and had a drink at the bar whilst waiting to be seated ( no rush)
The food was beyond my expectations.the best Sunday lunch for many years the house red was perfect .I?ve never had roast beef like it seared and smoked?..

Our dinner for 5 on a Saturday night was outstanding. The food was perfectly balanced and the service from Jamie was excellent. They went out of their way to accommodate the dairy intolerance of one of our party and overall created a really comfortable and memorable dining experience.

We stayed at the Great house in May , we had a wonderful experience ..,from the moment you are made to feel so welcome , nothing was too much trouble Yann and Jamie are amazing !

One thousand thanks to Onur and his lovely team for the fantastic welcome and outstanding overall experience. I have had the privilege to host two wine dinners in 2024 and 2025, and Château Lestrille and the Great House have teamed up to produce an own label Bordeaux rosé which looks and tastes amazing! I can't recommend this wonderful place enough ?

Wow, this hotel definitely lived up to all expectations and more. We stayed here for my husband's special Birthda., We booked the Rolls Royce pick up and Gavin picked us promptly and we felt very spoiled on our journey to The Great House. Yann greeted us very warmly on our arrival and showed us to our amazing room; number 3. The decoration and attention detail are superb. Nothing is too much trouble at this Hotel, we met Jamie later on in evening, who I liaised with previously to help me plan our trip. All the staff are extremely professional, friendly and kind. Thank you to you all for making our trip perfect.
