Beautiful traditional country inn with a new extension providing extra en-suite accommodation built in keeping with the historic building. Convenient location just outside Newmarket - taxis are readily available. Beds were comfortable and our room was scrupulously clean. Would not hesitate in booking again.

We met up with friends for Lunch at the Bell today.
We all were very impressed with the food and the pub itself.
I had the fish supreme as did my friend. It was delicious, cooked beautifully and was hot. I didn?t want to stop eating it. The men had Fish & Chips ( lovely) and Steak Pie, which was a very generous slice. All cooked to perfection. Knicker bocker glory and strawberry sundae to finish. Delicious.
The pub itself is nicely decorated and clean. Especially the ladies toilets where a life size cutout of Tom Jones will greet you?
Very friendly staff. Will definitely go again.

Pulled in here on the off chance for lunch and wow what a meal!! My friend and I were very impressed with the food and the staff were lovely too. My friend had the salmon and I had the crab and prawn gratin, both came with new potatoes and proper fresh veg! It was cooked to perfection, very flavoursome, ample portions and just delicious. We both had desserts, a strawberry delight and the Belgian waffle, both were enormous and worth every calorific mouthful. If you have the opportunity definitely treat yourself to a meal here you won?t be disappointed.

We pulled up Google maps to find a place near to where we were for a bite to eat and drink. For lunch I ordered the scallops absolutely amazed by that meal. Sensational, perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. Service from everyone there was excellent. What a find it was. I only post when a place has amazed me like this place.

We had a Sunday roast, great menu choices, with different meats as well as menu choices away from the traditional Sunday roast. Staff very helpful and polite. Will definitely come again and recommend.

Great little pub just outside of Newmarket which is clean and nicely decorated. Hollie our server was very friendly and helpful with certain dietary requirements as I'm a Vegetarian. The food was spot on and portion sizes were generous, no complaints about anything and would definitely recommend.

My daughter and I popped in for an off the cuff meal, we fancied pub food locally and the Bell delivered. A welcoming feel and attentive staff followed by a delicious meal. We had starters and a main and were left too full to consider a dessert. Food was fresh and very tasty. We will be back! Thank you.
