A friend with her baby (11months) and myself with my little one (4months) went to have breakfast (£12.50) and drinks.
The food standard was shocking, felt like a greasy cafe plate of food, beans were discoloured, bacon chewy, presentation was awful.
My friend was feeding her baby, I asked if we could close the door to feed baby, as the wind was blowing right on baby and the serviettes off the table(bearing in mind we were the only customers there at the time) I was told 'we have the door open, as it gets really hot in the kitchen, I'll open it for 20mins.' The door was opened before that, then had to feed my 4 months old with wind blowing that his hair stood up! We closed the door, surely it opened again. Plates were not collected while there, noise in the kitchen was so loud, you could not converse properly.
Customer service really needs improving, we could hear the manager moaning at the waiter! Not busy at all, this was between 9am- 10am, that speaks volumes. Will certainly not be going again.

Stopped on a road trip through life for drinks, and now I feel it?s a better place due to the people at The Stables. Highly Recommend.

Mediocre service. 3 people in kitchen, one was earing a pack of crisps and singing to rock which was dar too loud and not really appropriate for the clientele and setting, he then served people without having washed his hands. Our table wasn't cleared for ages and not until after I'd ordered a second lot of teas and had them delivered, this was inside too, so staff not checking tables. The server took my order and asked where I would be sitting, like I hadn't just ordered tea and food and sat there for 40 minutes already! My poached eggs on toast arrived with butter or some type of spread applied, which hadn't been requested or offered.
Won't go back in a hurry, if ever. Is a beautiful setting but staff not attentive and food was hard to order as the options were limited and then they struggled to charge for just eggs and toast or just beans for people who were wanted more simple offerings, as the technology wouldn't allow.

This place is massively overrated. Super expensive for average quality. One female staff member was exceptionally rude. The driest sponge cake I have ever eaten. Plus no where to park unless you are driving a mini. Safe to safe we won?t be returning

Would absolutely not recommend. Visited at 12pm and they had run out of everything we wanted to order; all gluten free bread and fruit juices leaving little available options to have a GF lunch as the menu advertises. The salad quality was poor with coleslaw tasting particularly cheap.
We ordered 2 salads and the first was ready in good time, the second did not appear and upon asking I was told it had been missed (with no apology). By this time my toddler was becoming irate from the waiting and when my food was finally delivered it was fairly uninspiring and very overpriced.
Followed my an abrupt fairly rude comment by a staff member towards my toddler which was not the friendly customer service I expect in a little country cafe.
A real shame as it?s a nice spot, but will not be back again - absolutely no comparison to Nourish!

What a great find...lovely place for lunch. We go to a lot of coffee shops around East Anglia when out and about in our campervan. This is one of the best we've found, lovely friendly staff and great food. We had an egg and cress sandwich which came with lots of extra bits like salad and coleslaw and also a bacon and egg bap. Perfectly cooked bacon and egg! Everything is homemade and you can tell there is love and care put into the food. See you again soon, Shaun, Jo and Buddy the camper...

Really good bacon rolls. Friendly service. Good prices. Constant stream of Lotus sports cars driving past when we visited, for general entertainment.
