I cannot fault The Railway Inn. We've been coming here for some years now and each time it doesn't disappoint. All staff are very attentive and the quality of food is fantastic. The menu regularly changes, so it offers a good opportunity to try something new each time; I most recently opted for the Honey and Garlic Halloumi on Udon Noodles, which was very good! We have also stayed here, and the rooms are equally as good, offering scenic countryside views. I'd happily recommend.

We managed to get a last minute booking for Mother's Day which was extremely lucky! Really good roast dinner, can recommend.

Food & drinks: We went for a birthday gathering and the slow cooked brisket was superb as was the fruit crumble. We shall definately return.

Popped in for lunch lite bite.Really good service. Very friendly staff.We had best pork sausages and onion chutney sandwich, served with crisps and side salad. And shared a portion of cheesy chunky chips. Good quality food and very reasonable prices. Would recommend ?

Just been for a meal following a visit to the cinema with my daughter and grandchildren. I haven't eaten here for a couple of years so wasn't sure what to expect, but the quality of the food and the way it was cooked was amazing! I had barbeque belly pork with fries and homemade coleslaw, salad and corn on the cob - the meat was so tender and plenty of it. My daughter had the beef in guineas pie, with veg and again the meat was so tender and very tasty! Kids had fish and burger served with chips, they really enjoyed it. Price was very good and service was excellent! Thank you to the staff!!

We arranged a surprise 50th birthday party here on a Saturday evening, they were able to cater to 20 of us and children all with different dietary requirements and they couldn?t have been more helpful. The menu was great and catered to old and young. Thank you so much to team who were so organised and happy to help with anything we ask.

Super venue in the garden room for a large party of mixed ages. We were 19 with 4 children. The staff were all charming and very efficient and attentive. Food was first class. Just perfect for a 70th Birthday celebration. Thank you

Excellent food I had the chicken and leek lasagne off the £12menue and it was beautiful packed with chicken breast and so tasty and a large portion. The best value in Suffolk and well worth a trip out there. Freindly efficient staff that served all 15 of us with speedily without any fuss. A 10 out of 10 from all of us. Well done and thank you.

As usual I was not disappointed with the meal and service six of us had a lovely evening and the meal wS cooked to perfection.
