Desperate to to find cricket equipment I had bought it before at Smyths however I recently injured my hip so walking was agony.
I came across a staff member ?Dave?; What a guy ! He checked store stock then went to check other stores like Argos and Sports Direct on the internet which is something I should have done.
Being 72 years old it didn?t cross my mind.
I would like to say Dave went above and beyond to help ensure customer satisfaction.
It was not our first visit, I dropped both my grandchildren off with a wad of cash each first thing in fact we sat outside as we were a hour early. That?s another reason to check the internet.
All ended well they both learned how to play cricket ? a game they had never heard of ?
All enjoyed it. I obviously had to have a runner
Both wanted to play again today but rain has stopped play. Hats off to ?Dave? you made our final school holiday days memory makers.
Thank you Dave Thank you Smyth?s

Complaint Regarding Poor Service at Sim Toys ? Car Seat Return
I?m very disappointed with the service I received from Sim Toys. I recently bought a car seat for my daughter, but after trying it in my car the next day, I realized it doesn?t fit properly. I returned to the store right away, but the staff refused to take it back, saying I could no longer get a refund.
This is completely unacceptable. The product was unused and in perfect condition, yet they showed no willingness to help or offer any solution. On top of that, the staff were rude and unprofessional.
This kind of customer service is extremely frustrating, and I expected much better. I hope you take this complaint seriously and improve both your return policy and how your staff treat customers.

Great experience when purchasing a car seat due to Sarah being so helpful and knowledgeable. Helped make a hard decision much easier by providing lots of information and giving demonstrations. Left the store feeling confident about my baby's safety in the car. Would most definitely recommend!

Just want to say a huge thank you to the team at the Whitehouse store. Who all helped find and fit our babies new car seat. We really appreciate it and couldn?t of asked for lovelier staff ?

The Ipswich and Colchester store managers really need to give their heads a wobble and cheer up. Treating a customer, that has a valid receipt like a criminal because I want to return a travel cot which I don't feel is fit for purpose isn't on. Their behaviour and attitude is out of order!
I tried to return the cot in Ipswich first and the nursery manager/deputy manager had the make whole experience an embarrassment. She took the cot out in store to check it then proceeded to struggle to put the thing together and get it to click in but because it's faulty it wouldn't easily. Eventually she done it and proceeded to tell us that there was nothing wrong with it although she struggled with it for the last 20 minutes and we explained we didn't want it anymore as we also bought a new one. But no she wouldn't let us return it.
So I tried Colchester and had 2 of them again miserable unfriendly, doing the same thing, on the floor trying desperately to put the thing up and one side wouldn't click in which eventually it did but again I explained I wasn't happy with it as a baby would be going in there and the thing collapses too easily but again they denied me to return and mentioned that they new I had been to the Ipswich branch and tried to return it there!! So what ?? Is this against the law?? I'm trying to return a dodgy cot !!!
Total joke, it's a toy store, get some nice staff in these places that help customers
I will never buy anything in theses stores again

Very large store

Plenty of choice for a 2 year old granddaughter. One piece of advice would be to have a cord running in front of stacked toys/boxes to prevent them toppling over. Especially at floor level and toys placed on pallets.

Disappointing experience at Smyths today, popped in to drop a significant amount of money on the new Lego Dungeons and Dragons Minifigures, and when asked if I could buy a box, the guy on tills was really snarky and unprofessional "There's a 3 item limit" wasn't helpful in the slightest or interested in keeping good relations with a long time customer.
It's really disappointing as this store used to be better but if you don't want to make a profit so be it ?????

Assistant Jade went above and beyond to help. Chatted to our autistic Grandaughter with humour and interest. Really appreciated. ??
