I order a ladder and standoff for next day collection at the Whitehouse store. MacKenzie phoned to apologise and say it was damaged, then arranged for the order to be transferred to Ransomes. She couldn't have been more helpful.
It's great to see this level of service - such a rarity these days. Top marks MacKenzie.

Service from the young man at the counter was brilliant. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes and explained to him that I would be back in to return the unwanted pairs in a minute and was told yes that?s fine.After trying the shoes on in my car I returned to the store with the 2 unwanted pairs. As the return was being sorted by the same man I spoke to 5 minutes ago an older Woman appeared who I can only presume was his boss. She proceeded to moan at me ,the customer, for trying the shoes on outside! I explained that no one had told me I couldn?t but I might as well have spoken to the brick wall. She continued to moan and threatened they not be refunded. The young man kindly refunded both pairs for me much to her disgust.Great service in general from Screwfix however the Lady there completely ruined the experience and until she figures out how to talk to customers properly i will take my business elsewhere

Great service Jack, thank you.I reckon ScrewFix look for polite staff, certainly that's my experience.This branch in Ipswich have been consistently supportive in both supply of goods and assistance with enquiries, I've never left disappointed. Also, when I've left empty handed, ordered goods arrive as promised and plans don't get delayed.Thanks again Jack, thanks ScrewFix.

Worst DIY shop ever, says on website pick up next day which actually means with Screwfix it could be there anytime of the day like 3pm in the afternoon, no good if you want something quickly and then quite often it doesn?t even arrive until the next day or day after. Website needs to be clearer and things should arrive next day when advertised, sort it out!
