We stayed overnight as we were seeing a show in town and it was much easier to stay in Ipswich overnight. First thing to note: the car park suddenly appears on your right, half way around the one way system. We missed it and had to go round again. Reception on 1st floor, there is a lift. We were on 4th floor and had a really good room. Large bed, day bed, large TV, plenty of wardrobe space, tea/coffee making facilities. Decent sized en suite shower room, not sure how room could be improved for the price (£64) so 5 stars. Breakfast at £9.99 each was very good, too.Rooms: See photos, can't speak for other rooms but ours was very large. View of the bus depot wasn't great, but we didn't book for the view.

Excellent location. Well presented, clean and tidy room. Everything functional and good. However, the air conditioning was non functional and my room was far too hot to sleep well. Opening the window yielded a very noisy road.

An excellent hotel in the middle of town. The bonus was that all the staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful. A great stay.

I stayed here 20/2/24 for 1 night. There were 2 staff on having to share the responsibility of running front desk, seating guests in the restaurant, taking orders, clearing tables, serving drinks, preparing meals and serving them. I for one was astounded that a company such as premium inn are so low on staff restricting guests service that they expect. Well done to the the staff on shift, shame on premier inn for not having more staff helping out.Rooms: OkNearby activities: PlentySafety: OkWalkability: Close to amenitiesFood & drinks: RestrictedNoteworthy details: Ok

Typical premier inn. Located within 15 minutes walk of central Ipswich. Staff were generally very helpful. Small bar open until 2am but with no draft beer.We stayed as a family and made day trips out.Never had breakfast. The macaroni cheese side dish was quite good though. No other meals were taken.Rooms: Clean and with an excellent shower. TV worked well. Good secure proximity key lock and got 2 key cards.Useful under building carpark that cost £6.50 per day.

2nd time staying here? much the same. Systems were down, no chef, check in was slow and room was right by a noisy door even though requested a quieter room. Not great! Once is a one off? twice is becoming a

Very comfortable beds. Loved the late check out? We really enjoyed the breakfast. The location was perfect.

Typical Premier Inn standard. The foyer is open to non-customers because it contains a Nikodem/Amazon Hub Locker & a self-service snack machine.Negative: The only fault was the pathetic TV, restricted to the most basic channels, not only NO Freeview channels, but not even the local news & weather updates for regional BBC & ITV!Positive: The Continental breakfast was well worth the extra charge!

Free wifi doesn't work, but they conveniently offer a 'premium' option.
