It is truly phenomenal, when the pizza greets your taste buds. I can't think off any other pizza restaurant that cooks pizza that is as delicious than pizza express. Also, the view of the waterfront next to you creates a picturesque atmosphere. And finally the waiters on shift that day were extremely kind and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you very much pizza express, I will be back again in the near future.

Service took 50 mins, pizzas were tiny. Could eat it in a couple of mouthfuls.

Well I?d like to say it was a pleasant experience, but it ruined our evening as we didn?t even get the chance to sit down! we booked our table for 6 people at 8pm and was told they were running 45 mins late, and even people that had sat down were getting up and leaving after still waiting to be served. Im sorry but the excuse of its busy and its Christmas doesn?t wear, they know its going to be busy so dont book so many tables out.
Im sure the food may be nice, but be warned booking around busy holiday times, you may have to wait or even go hungry!

Very frustrating sitting waiting for our meal for an hour while the chefs prioritise takeaway food. Would not recommend going there between 6-7 in the evening. Disappointed.

Pizza Express hosted us for our daughter?s 10th birthday and made it such a great experience, even though we were not easy customers. The food, setting and service was of such a high standard and I could not fault them at all. Thank you for making it such an amazing day with amazing pizza.

The food was very good. The pizza BBQ Chicken is excellent especially with the garlic oil . The Chicken Parmigiano pasta is also great. Jadna made our day, she was very kind. The hole place is lovely .

Service was shockingly slow. There were plenty of staff, they were turning customers away yet it still took a good 20minutes to take our order.
We tried to use a deal within the app which was not easy to do and staff struggled to help.

Pizza Express serves up the best pizzas from any chain in the UK. Their resteraunt in Ipswich looks a bit concrety from the outside, but its modern on the inside and you can snag a seat with a great riverside view. Service is friendly and efficient, making it a great place for a casual meal with family or friends.

Food was good, however after turning up with a booking of 5 today was very disappointed with the lack of attention at the host stand. We waited for quite a while (roughly 20mins) and once serviced we no longer received our reserved table and instead were offered a make shift compromise. Then when asking for a different and more comfortable table that was available we received a very rude response and were forced to wait for 10-20 minutes while the waitresses cleared all tables accept ours! When finally sat were completely ignored and treated like a problem, when ordering the member of staff was poor at listening and seemed more concerned with the staffs interest then her customers especially when we mentioned politely that the air conditioning was quite cold so our experience was being made uncomfortable. Whilst sat we also experienced many customers turned away rudely after waiting for long durations so no respect for time was being paid, this was particularly shocking as there seemed to be plenty of staff ignoring jobs and not a very busy restaurant. Despite having been to this restaurant a few times with okay service today it was unacceptable and just rude so I felt it necessary to leave a review.
