50% of the time it works ok. But often no paper in order point. Lack of condiments. You order eat in and it is prepared for takeaway. Saturday mornings the just eat type of companies take over so normal customers are neglected.

I visited here on 14/11/2024, just after the dentist. I placed my order of a McSpicy, rid of lettuce and add Bacon and Cheese, with a large fry and a toasted marshmallow hot chocolate, with chicken selects. I then went upstairs to the plentiful amount of seating available. The 3rd floor was sadly blocked, with no reasoning for, however it seems to be always blocked. Most tables were dirty, with food on the floor, and sauce on the tables, but its a Maccies, what'd you expect? The toilets sadly seemed to not be looked after well.
After a 15ish minute wait, I got the food. The McSpicy and Chicken Selects were just perfect, like usual. However, the chips were luke-warm, and tasted like it was just left out for like 10 minutes before being served. This is where it gets a bit... I went to try my "Toasted Marshmallow Hot Chocolate." It was sadly coffee instead, with the toasted marshmallow. It, obviously because of the weird combo, tasted disgusting. I had to go downstairs to get it remade as an actual hot chocolate. The worker there was good and remade it instantly, which is a good thing, so whoever that worker was thank you.
Overall, it isn't the worse McDonalds, but it isn't the best. However, it is in a good location if you are in town. If you don't mind getting a bus or driving a bit I'd recommend you go to McDonalds in Whitehouse, but this McDonalds is still good, certainly better then some other ones I've been to in Ipswich.
Vegetarian options: McPlant
Dietary restrictions: You are able, as like most McDonalds, to take out and add stuff. Most McDonalds are terrible at this, however, this McDonalds, for me, has been good at actually getting rid or adding stuff
Parking: There isnt any parking specially designed for this McDonalds. The closest you will get is a car park for all of town centre which costs money.
Kid-friendliness: It's maccie's, what'd you expect. Very kid friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: Most of the seating is upstairs, there's only like 5% of all seats in the store downstairs, and most of the time they are taken. To get upstairs, you can only use stairs from what I can see.

Over 10 minutes for a burger and nuggets ...barley warm , cold cheese slices and tables/floors scattered with food scraps and rubbish ...Drinks and ice creams left on the side ! .... Do the kitchen no longer required to wear gloves when preparing food ..???? ..clean up your act McDonald's...an uncomfortable experience.??

It's a mcdonald's! Been there in the past and they have never disappointed except for the occasional dirty table. Be warned the place can get rather busy.
