Disrespectful customer service. Discrimination, I witnessed some youngsters, in their teen years I assume, being kicked out of the cafe simply for being there eating m&s food, despite ordering food from the cafe as-well. This is disgusting. It is so poor to see youngsters being discriminated and shunned by management.

DO NOT COME TO M&S CAFE,
First of all, I would have given 0 stars, but I felt to be the bigger person.
I purchased a ?best ever? (spoiler alert it was the worst ever) prawn sandwich and entered the cafe and took a seat.
An employee rudely marched over to my table, with an intimidating scowl on her face and shouted at me that I couldn?t eat my m&s sandwich that i had purchased downstairs.
I complied with this request and stopped eating and ordered a milkshake and a second employee comes over and tells me to stop eating, and i let them know i wasn?t. A THIRD employee, the manager, came over and threatened me to put my food away or leave, whilst i was drinking my milkshake my I add. I left the cafe and my half drunk milkshake and was even stalked out of the building by the same employee. Frankly, this is the worst customer service i?ve ever encountered in my 13 years of life.

Very long wait as only one barista on duty. Coffee when it arrived was very bitter. Have you changed your blend? Will walk across the road to cafe Nero next shopping trip. Shame, I used to look forward to my visits

Cafe review
Always clean, nice calm atmosphere. I often visit. Lovely cheese scones, also noticed gluten free scones are available.
Has a bubble tea once, just ok.
Think they have taken the jacket potatoes off the menu, which is a real shame!
I?ve also had avocado, poached egg and smoked salmon on toast (pictured)
Pricing, rather responsible; £1.50 for a flavoured sparkling water, you can have a glass if you wish. Cheese scone £2.75. Think the jacket potatoes used to be about £6, bubble tea about £3.50/£4 I think.

Serving staff and management are completely unskilled in customer relations. They are arrogant hostile and paranoid. I got into a debate with a couple of them about method of payment, I presented government ID with valid signature and they refused to accept it. The entire time I maintained an even tone of voice, used polite language, and when I asserted my position and expressed my opinion they threw me out for "Abusing their staff" which was completely false. They are bunch of nasty jerks.
