Both had 80z steak sizzler, medium, waited half n hour even though pub quiet, chips and onion rings cold, steak chewy and difficult to eat, staff not very welcoming, rather a attitude.

Myself and my partner regularly enjoy dining at this lovely pub.
Have to say,we had a lovely meal on Friday 10th Jan.my steak was cooked to perfection,and tasted fantastic.
Big shout out to staff member Marie,who pointed us in the direction of a real good deal!

Absolutely 5 star . New staff Charlotte and Terry absolutely amazing. We were a table of 14 New Year?s Eve and service was amazing food amazing . Finally the spark back in the Claydon crown . Terry made New Year?s Eve special . Thank you

Sian was an excellent waitress at the Claydon Crown. She was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making sure our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. Her service was both professional and warm, and she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this pub for anyone visiting!

Lovely atmosphere in this pub. The food is very good value for money and helpful sociable staff. The landlord Terry always gives a warm welcome. Overall, very happy.

Visited the pub this evening for Xmas drinks with friends tonight.
Had booked a table as knew it would be busy.
On arrival I found my table had been reserved with my name on it, so that was a good start.
The new manager Terry came over and spoke to us. He personally cleaned our table and made sure we were looked after.
No queue at the bar and quick service.
For the first time in a long time it was nice to see the pub clean. I was even more pleased to see the manager check the toilets to ensure they were clean and supplied with sufficient toilet roll. ( that?s the sign of a good manager)
Also a special thank you to Eve who was working on the floor serving customers and was working very hard.
