“I left education and began my gap 'year' in 2008, I was extremely lucky to find myself working as Supprt Worker at one of Cephas Care's Learning Disability homes. With the support of a fantastic team, inspirational leaders and tailored training, I quickly began to build confidence and learn many of the skills that would carry me soundly through these past years. Before I knew it, my gap year became two and it was with a heavy heart I left to pursue a Buiness Management degree minoring in HR. This wealth of experience soon launched me in to my working HR career.I am excited that in June this year I returned to Cephas Care working in the HR team. It has been great to see so many familiar faces still remain, individuals who have worked so hard over these years, remaining loyal to Cephas and who have welcomed me back with such amazing support.I feel extremely grateful, committed and motivated to give back in any way I can and I look forward to seeing what the future holds as we work together to develop the best person-centred service possible.”
