Beautiful facilities. A lot to offer. The price is ridiculous though. It'll cost almost £500 to join, with my partner. And will cost over £230 a month to attend. Not sure how they justify such high prices. But.. if you have the money to waste then they certainly offer a lot here.

A complete facility that is almost like a hidden gem where it is located. You can easily spend the whole day there and you do not even have to worry about food! They have real chefs producing excellent food. On my visit the food was cooked by a chef called Shayne and it really was top notch!

Myself and daughters have been members for a few months now. And it's becoming part of our routine. I regularly attend to use tha facilities and end up spending the days in the club working. All the staff are friendly and welcoming.My daughter who is now 4, joined Tennis Stars when she was 3. Ollie Sutton, leads a great programme. Her tennis lessons are with Sheila Culham, with the brilliant tennis assistant and she absolutely loves it and Sheila. The lessons are well planned, lots of great exercising and very skill based. At no point have I felt concerned leaving my daughter in their care. Throughout the week it's all she can talk about. We look forward to many more lessons as she gets older.

My son who is Autistic and ADHD has tennis lessons with Sheila. Despite his varying moods Sheila is able to cope with him and allows him to participate as much or as little as he feels he is able to. He now comes in with more confidence and is able to participate much more due to her careful handling of him. His tennis is improving dramatically as well as a result.

Oli and his tennis team provide a great kids and teen tennis programme. My son has flourished in confidence with his tennis ability under their guidance. Well done tennis team!

Both my children have been on the Tennis Stars programme for 6 months. It is great to see each week how their enjoyment and confidence grows. The coaches Ollie Sutton and Sheila Culham deliver an excellent session each week and the children look forward to the well prepared sessions with lots of variety and fun activities. As a parent I can watch from the cafe and it?s lovely to see how much they now enjoy tennis. I would recommend their tennis coaching.

I?ve been a member since DL opened as Next Gen in 2001. Ollie has been coaching me tennis all that time.He?s really great and appreciates how to get the best out of me without over taxing my increasingly aging body! My tennis has continued to improve by leaps and bounds and it?s all due to the quality of Ollie?s coaching .And of course the facilities and the team at DL are fantastic. I?d recommend Ollie to anyone who wants to improve their game at any level.

We have been members of David Lloyd Ipswich since 2001 and enjoy all the facilities and especially the range of racquet sports.Our son started tennis lessons as a 4year old firstly with Sheila, then Ollie. He is still a member and continues to play and enjoy tennis as an adult.As a member of DL with indoor courts it enables us to play weekly tennis and badminton all year round and occasional squash.We have started to play pickleball, which are throughly enjoying and it is good to see the club supporting this fast growing sport.Moving forward it would be good to have permanent pickleball lines (although the tape is ok for the moment) and also reinstate cardio tennis to the timetableThank you to all the staff at DL, Ollie Sutton and the racquets team for all their continued support.
