Avoid this garage at all costs. I test drove a Vauxhall Meriva Monday. A code 089 came up and when I questioned this I was informed it was because it needed a service. We agreed the sale at the asking price but with a full MOT, service, valet and PDI check. £200 deposit down and my new car in the following day for said MOT and service. Very quick and efficient I thought. It failed on fractured rear springs and advisory for front discs and pads. They agreed all the work to be done but the 089 code still remained after the service. A diagnostic machine showed the glow plugs needed replacing. Prior to being told there was still an issue with the vehicle I was asked for another £4800 bank transfer and told to change my insurance and breakdown cover which I incurred additional money which you would expect. They told me it was absolutely fine to drive the vehicle with the glow plugs not working my niece's fiancé who is a qualified mechanic begged to differ. I insisted on the vehicle being repaired before paying the £1000 balance taking it. I was told they didn't really have room for it on their forecourt....not my problem! Glow plugs were ordered and I was informed they would be delivered by 10am the next day (today). I ended up calling Eurocarparts myself as the garage said they hadn't arrived. Eurocarparts infact informed they were with the garage in the morning. My car didn't get taken to the garage until 15.18 today. After calling to find out what was happening then advised the car was now throwing up another code but the garage's diagnostic machine couldn't recognise exactly what it was other than potentially a fan. Told that an expert would need to take a look. I expressed that I was loosing my confidence in the car. Apparently the garage who worked on it commented sometimes you get problematic cars. I said I was very concerned about buying the car. The salesman actually agreed with me. I was offered a courtesy car but decided when it was offered to me that I would go with a full refund. Obviously by now after the saleman telling me my vehicle would be ready yesterday and to change my insurance and breakdown I had incurred nearly £90 and had no vehicle to show for it. As I had been messed around and left for two days without transport and now no car at all that they should reimburse me the additional £90. The owners response was a resounding NO. I mentioned that I would be leaving a review to which I was informed by the salesman that the owner really wasn't that bothered and would dispute I'd been treated badly. AVOID THIS GARAGE AT ALL COSTS

It?s a shame you can?t leave a review without any stars, as this place really doesn?t deserve even one!! A warning to anyone silly enough to trust these people, DON?T. We purchased a car and asked to have it sooner rather than later as we?re both self employed. £250 was taken off the price as it wouldn?t be having a valet done, however it went from 3 month?s warranty down to 1 month?.Oddly! 15 miles in the tank, I assume they don?t want you to drive too far incase something goes wrong on the test drive, ha!And it went wrong within 2days. The ?wonderful? Luke was very, very quick to try to say we had it under ?parts? warranty, ie he was trying to wiggle his way out of sorting the problem! Several days later finally it was booked in to a garage to be looked at, however I must add this was only due to calling him LOTS of times to get this sorted. If Luke says he?ll call you back, seriously you have more chance of winning the lottery!!!Once the car had been at the garage and they realised it did actually need fixing, we were then told Luke would need to find the parts (bit odd as that?s surely what the mechanic will do who should be fixing it) ANYWAYS?..again several days later the car goes to the garage, no curtesy car given, no apologies, nothing! Yep the customer service is exactly as you?ve read in previous reviews?.SHOCKING! Even the man at the garage where the car was having work done (actually don?t think they done anything to it) said our first mistake was buying a car from Claydon/Baylham Autos?..Wow! Yet he apparently does work for them all the time?Luke actually rang to tell us it would only need to be in for half the day, yep it was in from 9:10am-17:15. Less than 24hrs later warning light on the dash and the car goes into limp mode. Apparently boss was on holiday for 2weeks, nobody knows who is in charge when the boss isn?t there, it?s ?up in the air? apparently, joke of a business. Don?t think local, don?t think trustworthy STAY THE HELL AWAY. I wish I had of listened to the negative reviews, instead of giving a local business a chance, how wrong I was. Time wasted we can?t get back, fuel left in the car no cash given, no fuel cost covered while we ran the car around to the garage. Avoid at all costs ?? ****Avoid the white Audi they?re trying to sell?.Unless you want a broken car! Thanks very much for relying, although we would love to hear your side of the story as I?m pretty sure it wouldn?t be the truth?Unlike what?s been stated above. Maybe read up on consumers rights and how to act appropriately with customers ?

02.07.22 viewed car. Paid £200 deposit. No movement on price. Was told full service, MOT with no advisories and a valet.08.07.22 was told car was serviced. MOT passed with no advisories. But no valet.09.07.22 picked up car. £20 discount offers for no valet. Arranged 16:00 collection. Staff was busy for 40 mins with another customer. Paid money around 17:00.09.07.22 drove car 10 minutes down road and engine over heated. Limped home. Car cannot be driven.I0.07.22 Business was closed.11.07.22 arranged by myself for car to be towed to their garage. Refund or fixed under warranty.12.07.22 was told that fuel pump had failed. Was told told that part was hard to source because car is German and part comes from Germany.13.07.22 part arrives. Second hand.14.07.22 up on ramp. Was advised 30 mins work was done.15.07.22 car fixed. Had to collect myself and £20 for valet not paid back. Was told by dealer ?in the nicest possible way I hope we never see you again?. Took the car into their garage on my week off because it was whining like a kettle on 15/08/22. Various vague excuses as to why it wasn?t fixed. Had to chase dealer to get an update almost daily. Three weeks later was told they couldn?t fix it and I should reject the sale. Spoke to the dealer on the Thursday and agreed I would return their courtesy car on Saturday. Sent a rejection email on same day. Next day at work received an email demanding I return the courtesy car. I missed it as was working. Went in on the Saturday to return company car and hand over log book for the car that I bought in good faith with a service and a clean MOT. Was told that I couldn?t receive refund as accountant was busy with her wife ? errr husband. Who knows. Dealer Luke signed a statement saying that I would get payment same day. Was told on 12/09/22 that if I had returned courtesy car when demanded that i would have been paid. I missed the email and verbally agreed that Saturday after 10:00 i would return courtesy car which I did do. Now I?ve been told that because of this I?m back of the queue for a refund. I understand that legally they have 14 days to refund. If you want to run the lottery of a dealer, garage, and purchase a car that isn?t drivable come to these guys. 15/09/22 no car and no refund. Got my refund a week later minus 150 with no explanation. A hole tax? ?

I have had my car for a week now and so far I am very happy with it. After I test drove it and decided I'd like to buy it, I explained to David that I was waiting for an insurer to pay out after they wrote my car off. Happy to take deposit and keep the car until the money was paid out which 3 weeks later it was, I was given until the following day to return the hire car. My "new" car was given an MOT and valeted the same day so it was ready for me after I dropped off the hire car. Great service.

Bought a car from here about a month ago, they had the car MOT'd, cleaned and ready for me the next day which was great. Also just had the wing mirror stop working to which they replaced for me no questions asked and in good time too. So far the best experience I've had buying a car, these guys will look after you ?

It's a car sales business. I went there and bought a car. Not an unpleasant experience (apart from parting with my money).
