The craftsmanship on my bespoke engagement ring is excellent, I couldn't imagine it any better, I love it. I also appreciate that Hayden doesn't back down from a challenge when it comes to creative ideas for bespoke designs, he seems to be truly passionate about what he does and ready to try different things. Hayden and the staff also seem to genuinely care about the client as well, which is really refreshing.

It is very clear Carats care about customer experience as well as providing an excellent and extensive range of jewellery.After a few issues initially with the customer service, I raised my concerns and was very quickly met with kindness, professionalism and resolve. This is a business that listens to it's customers.Highly recommend, we will be back.

I had my ring resized in 2021. Was not super happy with the finish as there was a little crack along the bottom where it was soldered. They also removed half of the hall mark. This ring has been passed down to me and can?t just be replaced. The joint has now broken. Went back to see what they could do and have told me I will have to pay again. I know it was 3 years but I think this is unacceptable as it has only broken because of poor workmanship. This jeweler was highly recommend but has been disappointing. I would not get anything of value done here as they may not do an acceptable job.

I was really impressed with these jewellers. They kindly repaired the clasp on my necklace within a few minutes. I would highly recommend them.

My experience was a joy to behold. This store and your staff are the only reason that I come into Ipswich! I was served by the beautiful Alex who is such an asset to your store she was attentive and really cared about what I had to say, she also gave me some very good information about what to do with my current pieces!

The staff couldn?t have done more to help me and assist me. Great relaxed shopping experience where customer satisfaction comes first. Great shop with some fantastic pieces of jewellery. Absolutely recommend!

Friendly, knowledgable and took time to help me find the right kind of ring for an engraved personalised design. Did a great job, liaised with the engraver, and delivered in the timescale as discussed. Really great job Team Carat!

I originally went in to get my necklace repaired. This was done with no trouble. During one of my visits I spoke to Hayden to ask if a ring could be made for me. Hayden took the time to discuss my options. He got in rubies for me to look at and instantly when he saw my face he knew the original ones he had ordered in were not for me. He then arranged for other rubies for me to look at as he said 'do not go for second best as you will always look at it and say its not what you wanted' After many visits, and each time Hayden gave me as much time as I needed to look, think and decide I ordered my ring. This was an important piece of jewellery for me personally and of course because I have good taste lol, I went over my original budget but again no pressure, plenty of time to make the decision. Since I picked up my ring it has not been off my finger. I have decided to not think of the cost and hide it away in a box to come out on special occasions but to enjoy it for the special gift it was to me. Thank you Hayden and the staff at Carats

Don?t bother to buy anything from Carats unless you know the exact size you need. I bought a ?statement? bangle costing £187 for my wife?s birthday as surprise, which happened to be too large. We took it back to the shop and we were told they could not alter it and would not give me a refund, this was after my wife tried all of the bracelets on in the shop and non fitted. I was told the only thing they were prepared to do was to order a new one which would cost me an extra £23. This is what I was forced to do. I had to wait over eight weeks for the new bangle to arrive, not once did they make contact with me during this time, they had my money so they didn?t care less.By all means use Carats for minor repairs, but not for their jewellery, go to a reputable high street jeweller where you will a get refund and better customer care.They do not care about their customers once they have your money! Needless to say I will not use this shop again and have advised friends, family and colleagues to follow suit.Also, I did not even receive any form of apology for their negativity.

Took my necklace which my dog had broken to be repaired. The staff member was very helpful and provided many solutions at different costs to meet my needs. The repair was taken place there and then and i was left very happy with my repair! Great prices and good staff , thank you!

Took my grandads Tudor watch to get soldiered and change of glass. With about 3 weeks of waiting and a estimate given I received the watch. Absolutely top quality workmanship couldn?t of been happier. Thank you so much definitely recommend.

Considering that it's a family run business I was expecting better customer service. I normally wouldn?t leave negative feedback. I run a business myself and understand how important it is, but after reading some older negative feedback I don?t think they really pay attention to it.I came in last week just before my holidays in Greece. A couple of days before I decided to buy a new engagement ring box as it was already too late to order online. There were already some customers inside and a gentleman was serving them. At the back, 2 women did not pay any attention to me. Only when gentlemen serving other customers ask them to come over, a lady came to me. She explained that they have some boxes available. She asked the gentleman where they keep them. After she found boxes, other gentlemen added that there should be wooden boxes, to which she replied ?oh, those are expensive?. I did not pay attention to that at the beginning. She showed me a plain, black box. Nothing wrong with the box, I was just looking for something fancier, considering the special occasion and cost of the ring. She confirmed that it?s all they have. I asked her if I could see those wooden boxes and again she pointed out that those boxes are ?expensive?. Again I insisted to see them. After the lady showed me wooden boxes I decided that this is a bit too much and I left.I am a foreigner living in Ipswich for more than 10 years. Was not wearing a suit, I was wearing ripped jeans and a hoodie, but you should not judge people by their looks. I worked for well known company (similar industry) as a business manager for more than 7 years. I am more than happy to help with some training. Wish you all the best.

I had to get my wedding ring expanded. This meant adding some gold. Carots was at least half the price of other 'high street' jewellers. The service in the Ipswich branch was excellent. The ring was ready on time and looked like a new ring.
