We purchased a sofa over the weekend, and delivery was originally scheduled for this Friday.
However, we were informed by phone that Friday was no longer possible, and the delivery team unexpectedly arrived at 6 PM.
They did not collect our old sofa as agreed. Even more concerning, they delivered an additional piece of furniture that we did not order, which is now blocking our home. We have no idea what it is or when it will be collected.
This experience has shown that planning and communication are not strengths of this store.
We have paid the full purchase price and the full delivery fee, and we are extremely disappointed with the service provided.

I recently purchased furniture from the British Heart Foundation and opted for the delivery service, which included having the items brought to my flat. Unfortunately, the delivery experience was far from satisfactory. Despite paying for the delivery to my flat, the delivery team left the furniture on the ground floor and made no attempt to bring it up to my flat, which was a major inconvenience.
I had specifically requested the furniture be delivered to my flat, and it was frustrating to find it left at the bottom of the building. While I understand that there may be challenges in delivery, paying for this service should have ensured that it was completed properly. The lack of attention to customer expectations and the incomplete service was very disappointing.
While the furniture itself is fine, the delivery experience left much to be desired. I hope British Heart Foundation reviews its delivery practices to avoid similar issues in the future.

Extremely bad experience with buying and donations. I do not think they care about charity at all. The drivers always say they donot care and not work for british heart foundation, and people at the store , particularly at the billing counter, are not helpfull at all. I wonder why they still have their job, if we have this much complaints or bad custome service at our workplace we are probably gone. They miss things in delivery, than they say they sold to 2 people than they deliver that product on the different day than they said and furniture was on the damn pavement in rain. Never gonna go there.

Behind the good name of charity, it is getting run by people who are just getting their wage. The ladies on the counter are utterly rude and it is like they know they have been working here for long and no one will give iiiit. No professionalism at all. Not gonna buy anything for them, I bought even after I can afford new ones in the name of charity but I do not want my money to be used as paycheck of this useless employees of this store. Gonna buy from somewhere else. So irresponsible and they do not care about customers at all, especially two ladies on the counter and their drivers always say they do not give a iiiit.

Warning !!! Cheaters & deceiver sitting behind social cause .. Never ever go to them !!!!!!
After scheduling a furniture collection three days in advance, I was shocked by the behavior of the collection staff when they finally arrived.
Firstly, the collection was already three days late, and yet there was no apology for the delay. The individual who arrived was extremely rude, showing no consideration or respect. To make matters worse, he demanded that we carry the furniture to the van, which I found completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
Additionally, the staff member refused to collect several items, citing that he was getting late. This was highly frustrating as we had prepared all the items for collection as per the guidelines provided.
Overall, the lack of professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency was astounding. Totally rubbish and shame on BHF staff

I recently had a worst experience with the British Heart Foundation's (BHF) furniture collection service, which has left me questioning their reliability and trustworthiness.
I booked a collection of furniture to donate to the BHF, wanting to support their cause. I was given a date for the pickup. On the scheduled day, I waited for the collection team to arrive, but no one showed up. Later, I received a message stating that they couldn't collect the furniture due to a lack of parking space. This excuse was a blatant lie. My property has a large car park with ample space, making it evident that parking was not an issue.
Feeling frustrated, I contacted their customer service to resolve the issue. Despite my efforts to explain the situation, they offered no satisfactory solution or acknowledgment of their mistake. Instead, I was met with indifference and excuses, which only added to my frustration.
The BHF's failure to honor their commitment and their dishonest excuse for not collecting the furniture is extremely disappointing. As a charity that relies on public donations, I expected a higher level of professionalism and integrity. This experience has not only wasted my time but also discouraged me from supporting their cause in the future.
I urge others to be cautious when dealing with the British Heart Foundation's collection service. Based on my experience, their reliability is questionable, and their customer service leaves much to be desired. It's a shame that an organization with such a noble mission falls short in its execution and fails to uphold basic standards of honesty and accountability ..

Very very disappointing! Had arranged collection of several pieces of furniture between 12-5pm. After repeated phone calls after 5pm...6pm...7pm... still no sign of the delivery guys! Repeatedly getting fobbed off with give us 20mins and we'll be there. What a waste of my time.

I went into the store and made three purchases of furniture. They said they deliver and the cost would be £28. I happily paid for my items and they even arranged to pick up some items on the same delivery. Well, I waited today for most of the afternoon and the delivery drivers called and they refused to deliver my items because they said they were scared of parking tickets. I explained that I was sold the merchandise and they arranged the delivery and they still refused to deliver the items and they told me they would be happy to leave it on the sidewalk. As a disabled person, there is no way I could possibly move these items from the sidewalk. I then called the store where Sharon began to be very argumentative towards me and then said she would refund all my money, not even taking into account I waited all day for my items. I have bought from the Felixstowe Road store and they delivered to me with no problems, straight to my door. Sharon talked to me as if I was a second class citizen and was unsympathetic that I am severely disabled. I am left without my purchases and no resolution whatsoever. This woman should be fired for the way she spoke to me and the people who sold me the furniture should be reprimanded as they should have told me they would not deliver, even though other British Heart Foundation stores do delivered tome. I will no longer support the foundation due to the callus treatment I recieved today.

We booked a donation of furniture to be collected. We received a phone call at 8:10 am saying they would be 30 minutes after 90 minutes I contacted the shop asking if there was a problem. They rung back and told me the drivers could not get down the road because of parked cars. There are 3 roads which all give access to our property. We did not receive a call from the drivers to say they were having problems had they called we could have explained to them how to get access. There were vans travelling up and down all three roads this morning without a problem. The shop said the best they could do was reschedule, our new furniture is being delivered tomorrow so that is not an option. These items for furniture are just 18 months old and in perfect condition. We will now have to take them to the tip because we do not have time to rearrange collection.Terrible service.
