Recently visited for a Festive Lunch, should have addressed as Festive Fiasco.
Despite accepting a booking of 20+ for 12 noon booking, we found ourselves locked out in the cold as doors locked from 10.30 to 12.00, don't take midday bookings when your doors are locked. The Fiasco then commenced once entered as a long list was provided showing all the items they were out of stock (FIASCO) it's pre Xmas and a Festive Lunch, get your stock sorted.
Staff didn't appear to know what to do as we spent 30 mins waiting for starters, and when food was served it was Aunt Bessie's heated, sorry warmed up food.
And absolute disgrace as a supposed Festive *Fiasco* Lunch.
Will never attend another Brewers Fayre as it seems Whitbread have no interest in providing a decent meal, and are only interested in your £££
When it comes to a rating its within the -10
Save your money and avoid the Swallow like the plaque.....

The Boxing Day breakfast buffet was the standard buffet for a pub next to a Premier Inn ( other cheap accommodation brands available).
The restaurant is in desperate need of some love. It's becoming very tired, the tables are sticky after being cleaned.
Went as a family group, I think the only interaction with the staff was to pay our bill.

I?d just like to thank you for a lovely afternoon for our table of 20 plus on the 28th of December. We left in a hurry and didn?t get the opportunity to express our gratitude. We had some issues with our starters but it was quickly resolved and a refund given ,staff were very polite and friendly , yes there were some items missing off the menu and my favourite wine was unavailable but I was given the opportunity to try all others as an alternative. Staff were very apologetic . The menu was varied and food is really good value for money, I had the fish and chips which was huge and tasty!
This time of year can be short on the ground and hospitality staff don?t always get the recognition they deserve. Today?s event has provided us with a safe warm welcoming middle ground to meet with relatives.
Kid-friendliness: This pub has a ball pool area for kids and a children?s menu.

Come with 18 family members for Boxing Day dinner festive menu and was very disappointed we were told it was table service we couldn?t order drinks at bar food come out at all different times and some of us had to to go get are food from carvery which meant the others had finished there food before we got back as there wasn?t anyone doing the carvery the brought are pigs and blankets out ( sausages with bacon laid on top ) out before we even started getting carvery very disappointed with the service we paid a lot of money and the whole party was very disappointed with service we got . If we haven?t of preordered and paid before hand I would of refused to paid

It shut earlier than the time advertised on Google which left us disappointed hoping for a drink after working until 10pm. The breakfast was ok but vlfelt warmed up. No doubt it's a half decent pub but we never really got a chance to experience it.

Never had a problem before however Stake was sent back as not well done then came back out still under done to what ide asked for. eggs very slimey. Ruined my dinner really. Was told the cheff had apologised and that was it. Won't be in a hurry to return I'm afraid!
