Nice tricky course. If you can avoid losing a ball, you are doing something right.I have been visiting more regularly now, and upped the rating to 5 star, as I think the club pros are really friendly and helpful.

Good place if you're just starting out but check opening times as they're not always correct. Turned up to use the driving range on a Saturday only to find out they were closing at 4:30 and not 7:00 as shown

A very enjoyable visit for the first time today, a very warm welcome in the clubhouse and similar on the course from the members I had the pleasure of speaking to. The course itself is well maintained and it was a privilege to play, all in all, top marks and I look forward to playing there again.

It was my first time at this course and found the owner and staff very welcoming and polite from the moment we got there. The course was really nice and well looked after. As a beginner I did get a bit stuck on the tricky 2nd hole and to add to the previous review from Jameshellardmtb, who was in my party, we were politely asked to pick up the pace a bit, which I personally thought was justified (as it was probably my fault!), and did then help to set the pace for the rest of the course. I hope to return soon (likely without James!) if still welcome.

Course was well kept and fairways were cut lovely however after 2 holes we were told to up our pace of play (we had just let a 4 ball through) bearing in mind 2 of our 4 ball were brand new to golf and was their first round, we were considerate of others and let 2 groups play through.After playing 9 holes we were then questioned why we didn?t tee off on a par 4 when the group in front were only 3/4 down the fairway. As a member of a golf club myself I understand golf etiquette and speed of play. I let my friends know also how to speed things up but felt for someone to rush round on a golf buggy and tell us this is wrong. It?s a shame as it put us off for the rest of the round.

Played there this morning for the first time in 5 years and really enjoyed it . Staff were really friendly and helpful and the course was great and challenging . Will definitely be coming back for another round

Good venue, golf shop , full 18hole course well kept reasonable prices, large driving range. Well worth a visit, a highlight of the driving range is being able to aim at beer kegs , oil barrels and a parked car! Just makes a driving range a bit more fun
