Went to buy skewer sticks for a bbq, I was asked to show ID, showed my ID but so did my kids need to show ID, which is stupid. When asked to speak to the manager the cashier said no we can?t speak to the manager and was extremely rude at the till. When asked if we could have a bag to carry the shopping the cashier did not even answer we had to ask her 4 times and she slammed it on the table. It was not a busy time and there were no other customers so there was no excuse for the behaviour l, the other staff could see we needed help but decided to ignore us as-well. I do think it was because we were two Muslim women, so would not recommend this store to individuals from different ethnic backgrounds. Our cashier was an old lady with grey frizzy hair around 60+ and the other staff who was watching us and not helping was a short lady with black hair in her 30s, hope this helps, so people can avoid them.

One of the poorer B&M's in Ipswich is definitely understaffed with massive lines at the tills on most occasions that we pop in. You'd think for such a large brand they'd operate this location smoothly, sadly.
However, this isn't the case. Please treat your staff fairer B&M. Most of the staff look so overwhelmed when we come here. 2 stars for the brand not the lovely people who work here.

Always like going in here, warm and welcoming atmosphere and the staff seem always happy seems to be good place to work going by that. Staff always helpful when needed, the layout is basically perfect can't really find fault with it, so it's well designed an thought out. They sell pretty much everything in there, like it's crazy how many items u can get. Infact only thing u can't buy in a b&m store is a house an car lol wish they'd build one closer to where I live so I didn't have to go in the damned coop so often which is very pricey! But b&m prices are kind of perfect, long may it continue ? so Yeh check this store out when ur near by, url love it in there an probably come out with alot more then u intended on getting..

Would give 0 stars but unfortunately I can't. My daughter and her friends were shopping in this store- They go here often and have never had a bad experience until today. 3 other teenagers stole and the alarm went off and they happened to walk out at the same time as my daughters friends, My daughter and her friends all got searched, And one of her friends -Who had come in earlier and bought some perfume- Got all the things she had bought in B&M and various other shops taken away! This has made me Out-Raged because they said they had checked the CCTV but just stood there treating my daughter and her friends like they weren't Human beings. Overall they didn't give my daughters friends anything back that they bought because they didn't get a receipt. My daughter had an etch a sketch in her bag- That i had bought for her for her birthday since it was last week. When searching her bag they threw the Etch a Sketch onto the counter and when they left they did get it back but it doesn't work anymore. Couldn't be anymore disappointed in a B&M store.
Me and my daughter and her friends will never shop here again! Will be telling family and friends about this out-rageous event.

Wasn't best pleased yesterday, I have a badly fractured shoulder and am in a sling when I politely asked for help I was ignored and struggled with one arm she threw my remaining items into the bag I am sure because there were other customers waiting. I believe the other customers were not impressed either if this is the kind of service customers receive. I will consider shopping elsewhere. Kind regards Craig

B&M home store is full of ideas, ideals and products. Sometimes a little sketchy with what they have, bargains of all sorts are to be found. Clean and presentable

Sadly the staff member at the checkout couldn't rustle up a smile, thank you or even be bothered to answer my question without a grunt. My only real experience from the visit. However, it is a big store, well stocked. Just questionable attitude from the staff member. Won't be rushing back.
