Really enjoy coming to the pub, always a great laugh and well priced food and service is always 10/10. If you're in the area you should come visit especially for Tuesday pizza night or Thursday burger night :D

We have recently had our wedding meal within the Rose and Crown and our evening buffet provided by at The Rose and Crown Elmsett and we couldn?t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and never made us feel that we where asking for too much. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and a great variety to please all our guests. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere of the pub made our special day even more memorable. If you?re ever looking for somewhere for a special occasion or just a good meal in a welcoming spot, I highly recommend The Rose and Crown Elmsett. Thanks again to the whole team for making our wedding day even more amazing!

Found this place online . Was looking for a nice little family pub to take the kids on a Saturday early evening somewhere with some stuff for the children to do . Looked on their website and they had pictures of a big children?s play area with lots of things for them to do . So all excited jumped in the car took the 30 minute drive there to walk into the garden and not a children?s toy in sight ????? my heart sank . Was completely shocked no mention on the website or anywhere that?s it?s now gone . Saying that if you haven?t got kids and want a nice quiet pub with a ok garden it?s not a bad place but definitely won?t be going back .staff where friendly.

Thank you to Shaun, Sophie and all the staff at The Rose & Crown. They put on an outstanding spread for my mums 80th birthday with lots of beautiful, fresh, tasty prepared food. The service, atmosphere and super friendly welcome from Shaun & Sophie was amazing and made the day all that extra special. Everyone said how lovely the food, staff and atmosphere was. We would all highly recommend the Rose & Crown for any functions and occasions. Thank you to all of you.

Visited here for drinks with the family while we were staying in Elmsett. I've not laughed like that for a long time. Everyone was very welcoming and instant banter. The staff were very fast and polite and Shaun, the landlord, was a cracking guy. I will definitely be returning here again when I'm in that area. (Only reason I didn't out a food star is I didn't get around to eating here but have been assured its very good)

Symon RIpswich, United Kingdom1Reviewed 1 week agoWetting the babies head.I had asked Shaun the landlord if he would be able to provide a BBQ and buffet for some of my family members so we could get together and celebrate the birth of my ninth grandchild who arrived on fathers day.Shaun, his sister Sophie and brother Ross were all instrumental in ensuring this event was a plesant experience and I must not forget the bar staff who coped extremely well despite the wrath of a prior event.A wonderful spread of food awaited us, this was not just what i had hoped for, this was much more than that with food spare.I could not have dreamed of such a banquet, fit for meat eaters, vegetarian, vegan and celiac alike, all explained so there was no cross contamination for anyone and special items were cooked on order.The spread was so good and in such abundance that I invited many more people from the pub to partake of the food and not skimp on the portions they gave themselves.Everyone was grateful and full, happy and had a wonderful time celebrating the new arrival and time spent together, obviously the children enjoying themselves in the large enclosed garden area was the main attraction and like the food didn't disappoint at all.THANK YOU SHAUN AND ALL AT THE ROSE AND CROWN .
