Love your hotel. We have been coming here for some years. Maybe 6 or 7. It's such a lovely place to stay. Everything you do is great. For example in the room; fluffy towels, comfortable bed, lovely homemade biscuits, a range of delicious teas. Home from home.

Rooms are okay but lacking somewhat in facilities. Water supply very poor, Internet very poor and reflects an old building so if this is your preference its perfect. One amazing aspect of this hotel is the food and staff both are top quality.

Treated to afternoon tea and an overnight stay in a luxury room for a special birthday. Simply can't fault the place. Lovely but very accessible setting; attentive but not intrusive staff and an exceptional afternoon tea (and I've had a few). All followed up by a delicious breakfast.Food & drinks: Had afternoon tea and breakfast. Both were delicious both in terms of variety and quality of ingredients. A request for gluten free and particular favorites were both met with no fuss. Highly recommend.

Stayed here over night after 70th birthday and Golden Wedding anniversary meal with 25 friends and family. We had hired the Parlour room.Food outstanding as were the waiting staff. Very attentive and polite. However very disappointed with the events team booked this meal approx 6 months ago hardly any communication within the time between booking and arrival on the 26th January. Any communication was initiated by ourselves. We booked into the hotel but although there was an event person on duty they never spoke to us so we had to sort things ourselves. Not sure if I would want to organise anything else at the hotel which is a shame.!!!!!

We have explored various accommodations across the UK, from hotels to homes to Airbnbs, and this particular one left us with mixed feelings. Despite its attempts to exude charm, it falls short in several aspects. The property's age shows, with signs of wear and tear evident throughout. The rooms lack warmth, with malfunctioning doors and toilets, and showers offering only a trickle of water. The restaurant, while aiming for sophistication, comes off as pretentious and overpriced, with service that is just average. Pillows are uncomfortable, carpets are in need of a thorough cleaning, and walking barefoot resulted in dirty feet due to the lack of cleanliness. Additionally, the curtains emit a musty odor, adding to the overall disappointment. Despite its promising appearance on the website, the reality of our stay did not align with our expectations, reminding us that appearances can be deceiving.

We had afternoon tea for a party of 15, in the Garden Room. It was delightful, the room is very comfortable and the sandwiches, scones, cakes and tea/coffee was amazing. Excellent service, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Hintlesham Hall?

We were celebrating a special birthday. The room was a large principal double room and was exceptional. The evening meal was excellent and the breakfast was just right. The staff were lovely. Only point to mention was my husband had asked if we could extend check-out by a couple of hours and we could for £50 which we thought was too pricey so didn?t.Rooms: The room was exceptional. Large seating area and large shower and bathroom.

Moderate food (for the price) in a crumbling building. Not really much to recommend. Sorry ?

On this occasion I stayed as a single person but couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. I had an excellent room (Manon), very comfortable, ground floor but there are three steps up from the Living Room to Bathroom which some people may find a little tricky. However, Reception do seem to take this into account when allocating rooms.Rooms: Very comfortable & warm in DecemberFood & drinks: Excellent menus, imaginative and varied over the 3 days Break

Excellent country house hotel. The room was very large and well furnished. Large bathroom. The bar and restaurant were great. Strong well priced wine list. Excellent

We stayed as part of a function. Our room was the heart of Oak and a room we stayed in before and previously had raised some issues about flies and bugs, unfortunately the same issues remain there are a lot of dead flies and lady birds in the room. It's also very dark and there isn't a suitable place to sit and get ready for the evening with good light. The water pressure is low in the room and the shower stopped working completley during my shower. The evening food was delicious absolutely no complaints. Breakfast though was extremely disappointing especially if you paid £24.50 each, we were all sat together although all arriving at different times, not offered tea and coffee or additional toast apart from the earliest couples. Full English was dry and tasteless, everyone's poached eggs were solid. If we stayed again for an event then we'd specifically ask for a different room.

Used a voucher for an afternoon tea. The young lady who served us was very pleasant and friendly. The afternoon tea was delicious with a variety of sandwiches, cakes and of course, scones with jam and clotted cream. The young lady even allowed me to put my feet on a chair, after a recent operation I had....thank you, my husband and I had a lively time.
