Very expensive fish and chips which was not worth the price point. Staff not really that friendly. The Six Bells despite being a group owned pub was much friendlier and much better value for food and drink so will not bother returning. Also it was not busy on a Friday night bank holiday weekend which is always a bad sign.

I came here today with my fiancé, our 11 month daughter and our dog. We had heard some good things about this pub, so decided to try it out. We only had 1 drink each, so didn't try the food. We took our daughter onto the play area first - she loved it! The only thing that we didn't appreciate as we were outside with her was 2 people letting their dogs off lead in the beer garden, when it states to keep your dogs on a lead, as we did.
We went inside after it started to rain, we just didn't feel comfortable so we finished our drinks and left. I'm happy that I didn't decide to change our daughter's nappy whilst we were there, as there was a changing mat available, but no changing table!
The staff were friendly and welcoming though.

I only popped in for a couple of drinks but the price was remarkably inexpensive. The service was great and the food being served looked lovely.

Just had sunday lunch,lovely food all fresh and piping hot generous potions,only just managed to fit a ? in again lovely, lovely staff and service would definitely recommend

Not for a real ale lover been here with friends a couple of times 4 hand pumps but only ever seems to have green king ipa must be the only free house that doesn?t change its beer tried a Guinness that was average so last of all ordered a brandy no brandy glass but served in a 1/2 pint.
Locals don?t like moving from bar area saying that the pub is clean

Friendly staff and comfortable surroundings.

Group of six, went for Sunday lunch. Friendly/helpful staff, food freshly cooked, good quality & value for money. Would be tempted to fill in gaps between old upright beams as customers in bar too close to our table.

First visit to the pub as was staying at the campsite nearby. Jaz was really welcoming, good beer and very friendly atmosphere. Booked for Sunday lunch the next day and was not disappointed. Will definitely visit again when in the area.
