Timpson Ltd 6 weeks ago, Katie had a car key cut by Timpsons. Unfortunately, this key was cut incorrectly, which has caused significant damage to her vehicle's ignition barrel. As a result, her car has been rendered undriveable. Timpsons admitted liability. The key was cut wrongly on one side !
To make matters worse, Katies currently heavily pregnant and classed as high-risk, making this situation not only highly stressful but also a serious risk to her wellbeing and safety.
Despite repeated attempts to resolve this, she has experienced:
Extremely poor customer service from Timpsons including lack of communication, failure to return promised phone calls, and complete disregard for her urgent circumstances.
Blame-shifting, where responsibility has wrongly been placed on a locksmith, my sister, and even myselffor taking the key back on her behalf.
False statements ? including the claim that the locksmith damaged the barrel by removing the key improperly, which is factually incorrect. If the key had not been turned, it could not have been removed from the barrel at all.
Contradictory claims ? including saying the chip in the key was lost, when the keys been removed or recut.
A Timpsons employee even appeared on the Ring doorbell promising to reprogram a chip, yet is now ignoring all contact and Timpsons are refusing.
Timpsons has sent £350 and said thats all theyll do. It costs more for someone to sort. What she needs and is legally entitled to ? is a working car, and for the damage caused by Timpsons' negligence to be fully repaired.
.The damage to her car is a direct result of Timpsons? failure to provide competent service.
Katie and Kirsty, managers (I assume - clearly have no compassion or care for customers welfare) need to stop ignoring my sister Katie and get this resolved asap. I swear if anything happens to her or her baby due to stress i will be holding Timpsons personally accountable. As today, I have seen her crying and distressed over this situation. Disgusting leaving anyone without a vehicle for so long never mind someone heavily pregnant.

absolutely do not recommend dreadful and need boycotting! anyone with any sense go to small independent locksmiths these cant cut keys correctly that lead to a damage car. admitted liability but no resolution or help. small claims court incoming. the customer service is appalling and they couldn't care less about their customers

Timpson charges a lot more than other similar outlets. £15 to replace a watch battery, £10 or more to cut rim lock keys (Yale), £20 for Chubb mortice keys.
The company finds excuses for not refunding car keys that do not work. Customer service is not well-trained.
Do not be seduced by the image of this rip-off company.

Having purchased shoes that did not consequently fit , I was left in a dilemma as to what to do
Overdue in time to return them, they were too expensive to ignore!
My partner took them to Timsons this afternoon as I was unable to go out due to the heat
He saw Luke who fitted insoles and heel grips, and when this needed correcting ,Luke took the time to listen and advice how to correct the problem
I am so pleased that I phoned him and got his fabulous help and advice
It's a hot clammy and uncomfortable Monday, yet he was extremely unflustered and understanding

Took my phone for a new screen and it?s never been the same since. Keyboard is intermittent and I?m told by another screen provider parts are missing that hold my screen in place now. Timpsons won?t accept they have damaged my phone. Customer services want me to send in my phone to confirm if they did leave the part out, but if they find no issue it?s at my expense. How does that work? Why would I send my personal and work phone with all my personal details to someone to do what? I have had no response on this. I did receive a refund on my screen, however my iPhone is not working correctly since it went in to Timpsons for a new screen. Stick to cutting keys. I?ve learned my lesson, I should have read reviews and not trusted the Timpsons name.

So this afternoon me and my mum went into Timpsons for a photo for my uncles funeral tomorrow we had been unable to get one that wasn?t blurry and I was met by June, I explained we was looking for a a4 photo and that the photo I had was an old photo, she helped us to decide on a smaller photo and a lovely frame, when I went to pay to said that mr Timpson does one random act of kindness a day and we didn?t pay a penny and all had a cry as the photo came out lovely, she?s definitely an asset to your team?? such a lovely women??

I would like to extend a huge thank you to Chris at Timpson for his incredible help on the 13th of November. I had a really stressful morning when I couldn?t get my car key to work, and on top of that, I accidentally broke it while trying to get the manual key out. I was stuck, unable to take my son to school, but Chris stepped in and saved the day. Not only did he quickly replace the battery, but he also fixed the key using the original parts, all while explaining what needed to be done. His expertise and willingness to help were truly appreciated. Thank you so much, Chris ? you really turned my day around!

Just visited the store in Bloomfield shopping centre Bangor to get 2 replcement batteries for watches. The guy quoted me £19 per battery PLUS fitting! Went to a watch shop in Bangor town centre and had the 2 batteries replaced for £15! Nearly £50 to get 2 watch batteries replaced? Hopefully the guy mistakenly had magic mushrooms for breakfast and got himself confused!

went to timpsons in Morrison's bathgate for passport pictures , what a lovely young man who was extremely helpful and was awesome with my granddaughter great service in this store on all levels so if u need keys cut shoe repairs or fancy photo gifts would highly recommend this store

Not very polite and not helpful. My other half asked about a battery for her car key. Was told £5 for the battery but because she didn't know what battery and she couldn't get the key he said if he opened the ke for her it's £12.95. Not helpful and rude. Use the shop in town. Old staff where so much better.

Took in a suit for a dry clean on the Saturday and I had a text to say it was ready for collection by Wednesday 9am. Fantastic service. Reasonable price and friendly staff.
