Newly renovated room, liked the downstairs pub aswell. We had a family program on that area so decided to stay in that hotel. Really pleasedRooms: Nice roomFood & drinks: PUB is very nice

Never stayed here.I have used the bar many times. Good beer, lager and cider. A range of spirits.Friendly bar staff.Sports on TV. Pool table and outside picnic benches for outside drinking when the weather's nice.

This was a room for some staff. We never book shared bathrooms so when there was nothing on expedia saying shared we booked. Expedia always detail when it is shared. The first thing out of the receptionist was "you do know its a shared bathroom". It was already looking like we wouldn;t be staying due to the smell of the reception but this tipped it. They tried to charge us more money for a private bathroom but that was unacceptable, We wanted to cancel the room but the reception guy wouldn't help and refused to call the person who could. We tried to get Expedia to cancel it but they wouldn't as the hotel had to authorise it and they refused. These people had money off us for an empty room and i wanted to make sure no one else suffered the same fate. Utterly disgraceful place.

Hi, I got chance to stay and dine here a week ago. The room was tidy and the staff was very friendly. In addition to in the next evening I got chance to eat in the restaurant the food was fresh and very tasty and I also had a great time in old traditional English bar. I would recommend others to stay . It is at a very prime location.

Went with friends who have travelled extensively in India & Pakistan and they said it was the worst curry they have had!Even the chicken & chips was not great.... with the salad looking like it had been left out for a couple of days .... lettuce & cucumber turning brown.

Whet down on the off chance we'd get a table and we did . Food was terrific service was a bit hit and miss but will give them the benefit of doubt due to only just opening . Gonna try take away to see if the food is still as good ?

Arrived at the advertised check time to be told they were too busy to check us in. Someone was in one of the rooms we booked and refused to leave. They offered us another room for an additional half price, but eventually backed down and when we came back late the room was available as paid for. The whole hotel is drab and shabby, half the lights in our room didn't work. There is a pervasive musk throughout the establishment. Grim.
