Just been here this morning to buy some new binoculars. I was helped by Edward whom I spoke to yesterday and it was nice to deal with the same person again.I tried several pairs with absolutely no pressure at all, but there was always friendly help and advice if needed.Settled on a beautiful pair of Swarovski CL 8X30 and really could not be happier.When I got home it?s like Mother Nature herself knew I had just got these and sent all the local wildlife to the bottom of my garden, but these 8X30?s are so good it?s like starting birdwatching all over again, seeing detail and colours I?d not seen before.Thank you Viking Optical.

I had an old pair of binoculars serviced by viking Optical, and I am really impressed with the end result. They are clean, and the adjuster works lovely and free. Very friendly people behind the counter, no hard sell , and evan down to packaging them back into the leather case .Thank-youRichard

I contacted this company as I had a pair of Bushnell binoculars that needed a urgent repair, and no other company seemed to want to help, but these guys were absolutely fantastic!... Sent my binoculars to them on Wednesday and collected them on Friday. Customer service point of contact ( Edward ) and the technician that carried out the repair were 5 stars, and the repair done was of top quality and at a reasonable cost. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again if I need a repair, or even a new set of binoculars! Thank You

Had an experience to beat all services I have had in years. !!! Went in for them to have a look at an unknown pair of bins. They took the pains to identify, and make a minor adjustment, sent me on my way, refused to take a payment. All with a pleasant word and smile. !!!! If this is the way they treated me, I know anyone buying any optics, would get superb service. !!!

I posted my much abused RSPB Puffins, and they were very quick to get them fixed, only took them a few hours from when they arrived. Fog-free birding, it's a whole new world. Thanks Steve and Edward!

Fantastic repair service, fast, inexpensive, friendly, can't fault them.Viking repaired a pair of binoculars that suffered some significant damage which I suspected would make the repair uneconomical. I was surprised to find the repair cost was about 1/4 of what I expected. The repair was done in just two days and the binoculars returned next day looking like new.Viking also supplied, on a sale or return basis, a replacement pair of eyecups for some Nikon Monarch binoculars I have. The eyecups on these have a known fault which is that the plastic screw threads break regularly. Viking took some measurements and supplied a pair of metal OEM eyecups that fit perfectly and are far better than the Nikon originals.Very impressed, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Great service..helpful staff and competetive prices...bought some superb binos from here having driven a great distance was shown lots and picked a good one! I recently had my Viking ED Pro binocular serviced which included the free replacement of a lost eyecup. Embarrassingly I lost the eye cup again just a couple of days before a major holiday. I rang Viking at 1430 on Friday afternoon and another (free) replacement arrived the next day. Brilliant service, great long-term customer support.

Prior to making an online purchase I made a telephone call to the store to check on the compatibility of the items. The member of staff who dealt with me was confident that the items worked together but stated that he would check by physically getting both items and trying them himself. Great customer service and delivery was made the following day even though the order was placed past the cut off time.It was my first time using Viking Optical Centres but it won't be my last.

Great service from these guys! I was having trouble sourcing a binocular accessory and they were very helpful. They were only interested in finding me the correct item rather than trying to sell me anything. As well as sending the item I ordered, they sent an additional item free of charge in the event that the part I ordered didn't fit although the part they recommended was perfect.
