We had a really enjoyable meal at W & W last night. The food was great and the service was impeccable. We were really impressed with how competent, attentive and friendly all the staff were. This really stood out and we appreciated it. Looking forward to returning.

I love this place so much! We have been twice this week with our 1 year old at lunchtime and previously for dinner as a couple. I was so nervous to take our daughter out for lunch but the wait staff were so kind and generous and extremely helpful. I really like that the lunchtime atmosphere is more easy going whereas the evening atmosphere is more exclusive.
The food is genuinely incredible. Around here we have quite a limited choice of cuisines and to have a genuinely authentic Italian in Framlingham is such a privilege.
I will continue to visit as often as I can!

Relaxed, elegant neighbourhood Italian that uses excellent, authentic produce and ingredients so the food really sings. Friendly and welcoming service. Minor criticisms with drinks, red wine served in the sake glasses as white wine so no room to breathe, which is a shame as the wine list is well curated. Also, disappointing espresso. Either the machine doesn't have enough pressure or it needs a good service/clean. Would still go back though.

We have watched this fabulous neighbourhood restaurant evolve over the years and our most recent visit for a family birthday once again met and surpassed all our expectations. If you like traditional Italian cooking and seamless friendly service then Watson & Walpole is also for you. On this occasion we enjoyed the inclusive Menu Fisso. We were a party of 6 and sharing everything just made our evening even more enjoyable and no food envy! At £30 including a glass of wine, it represented good value and the food showcased the kitchens talents perfectly. Silky burrata, succulent asparagus, fluffy focaccia, perfect fresh pasta and the best zucchini fritti outside Italy.

This is a gem of a place. A restaurant in the quaint town of Framlingham, that delivers world class fare.
Delicious food, prepared and presented to the highest standards. This level of sophistication is expected in a world class city, not Framlingham!
The team at W&W are delivering excellence, well done to them, keep up the great work.

Fantastic food and exemplary service at this gem in Suffolk. A meal that felt so contemporary and up to the best in Central London yet tucked away in the countryside where so many meals are at best just ok. I thought the prices were fair for the quality too. And also of note we rated the methode champagnoise Italian wine by the glass? delicious
