Lovely day out, the staff were very helpful and friendly. It inspired us to join english heritage ?. Also the town is small and lovely, very friendly people, with a nice pub near the castle

Having visited Framlingham Castle, this was the obvious stop for lunch. First impression was of a classic country pub, and we were greeted by very friendly staff. Pleasantly surprised by this place. Was driving through with my brood. Decided we were hungry and stopped by. The burgers here are great, food is properly cooked. The staff are friendly and attentive without being annoying. The place might need little TLC. But on the whole it made for great lunch time.
