This review is for the post office. On the 7th and 8th me and my mum have been served by a man. With no name badge with no customer service what soever. On the 7th me and my mum had a parcel and when i went to pay for it . The card machine said remove card when i never put the card in the machine. He then said i hvae to pay but i was trying to tell him the machine say to remove card, i then went on to say what button do i press to get rid of that message he then said in a rude way just pay. This was appox 4.45 pm On both occasions he was ever so rude. I asked for a £10 voucher on the 8th this was approx 5pm , he said to me i have to pay with cash and things have changed then said i can pay with card and i can not use my phone. Found that very strage. He slammed the recipts down at me no booklet to go with the vouchcher, did not even say anything about the voucher as normally they would say things like what recipts is for whom and show how much is on the voucher, eventhough i know how much is just the rudeness and lack of customer service. He needs to be retrained and have respect and mannors, or if not this job is not right for him. Just slamming everything down at me and said bye in a rude mannor. To then learn his from agency and the fact he works in london should know to have a badge on at any store at any time of work. but regardless no need to be rude . I think this matter needs investigating.

We visited on the 26th May at 10:00 with an exchange and the staff were friendly and helpful.Very impressed also by how staff help and serve the older customers that come in. They are patient and understanding- good old fashioned service. Great for Felixstowe still have a Smiths.A lot of products in one fairly small shop.Only downfall is prices of stationary are quite expensive.

A lot of products for such a small WHSmith. However, the lady at the till (blonde one) very rude. She was rude with the customer in front of me, and rude with myself as well. Honestly you can?t just be rude with everyone. From now on I would rather go the the Ipswich one as people in there are lovely and never rude.

I realise we are in lockdown, but could somebody please tell the manageress, I believe her name is Penny, and her staff not to be so rude and officious in their approach to customers. In fact on one occasion I was told "you shouldn't be in here anyway".Their attitude is such that it makes you feel altogether unwelcome in the shop especially if you wish to use the Post Office (where all the staff are helpful, cheerful and welcoming) Politeness costs nothing and is everything to a successful business.Perhaps a customer service course would be of use to all the staff.
