Like sitting outside this almost hidden gem for a quiet drink. Came here on one of the lunchtime strolls of Norwich CAMRA. Have been here a few times in the evening whilst listening to bands.

Bizarre.
Draught ale served at the temperature of lager.
Very comfortable Georgian style furniture at the rear of the pub which is, sadly, completely incongruous to the rest of the establishment.

I love this pub, tucked away down a little alley just off the market area. Always friendly staff and some real characters, as in customers. Full of character and a must whenever I am in Norwich. Love the seagulls opposite ?
