We?d planned to come here for lunch - after using the crazy golf next door. Unfortunately they lost our business after telling my husband and somewhat desperate four year old they had no toilets. They do. Just for customers. (Fair enough) We?d happily have bought a scone and returned but instead they got quite ill tempered and followed my family back to the golf to complain. I?d advise families to enjoy the crazy golf and eat elsewhere.

My husband and I stopped in here to feed our baby and thought we?d get some lunch while we were there. We ordered two baguettes but were told we?d have to wait as they were still in the oven. We said this was OK as we weren?t in a rush, but ordered a tea, flat white and a sausage roll to tide us over. The baguettes were brought out 15 minutes later, but we still hadn?t had our drinks or sausage roll. The baguettes were OK but had no garnish with it, and only a handful of crisps. In a tea room, I would normally expect a small amount of salad with a baguette. When the owner (I presume) brought the sausage roll out, she dropped the knife on the table next to the plate (rather than on the plate), which is when I noticed the vinyl tablecloth was dirty with tea stains. When my husband went to drink his ?flat white? it was too hot and had a brown skin on it. The drink was clearly just instant coffee with milk. When I said to (again I presume) the owner that instant coffee with milk is not a flat white, she just said ?fair enough?. It appears she doesn?t have very high standards for her business. We won?t be returning.

we visited last weekend and found a very friendly environment and a lovely playroom for children. there was a good selection of delicious cakes and bakes, my fiancee' had the victoria sponge which she said was lovely. I had a Cornish pasty which was really tasty. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Orded two hot chocolates to go for £8, thought they seemed light when I picked them up, served in normal sized take away cups. However deep in conversation with my friend i thought no more of it. It's not until we opened them we found less than half a cup served, 2 cm from the bottom at a push, you could pour both in the same cup & still have room. Absolute rip off. Will buy from near buy greggs in the future.

We had a fantastic time painting a variety of pottery which was all made in the shop. There is no time limit so we felt relaxed and were able to take our time painting. We ordered some drinks and snacks from the cafe which were brought over to our table for us. Overall a lovely experience. Best pottery painting place I've been to. Thank you!

Staff are lovely and helpful. Had one of the best cream teas for lunch today I have ever experienced. Great value for the food on offer and highly recommend the carrot cake. The venue itself is clean, bright and well looked after. It?s worth a visit if you?re in the area and visiting the nearby owl sanctuary. My daughter loved the carrot cake which is a bonus in my books as she can be really picky when it comes to food and often rejects food on a one bite basis. Thank you for a lovely lunch! There?s a small playroom for kids which offers a variety of toys and books for the kids to enjoy - my daughter played more in there than she did wanting to sit at the table!
Kid-friendliness: There?s a small playroom called the Naughty Corner which has toys for kids to play with.

Lovely little place. Stopped in for late lunch as my hubby & I currently staying in a lodge.
I had Cheese Ploughmans & hubby has Cheese & Ham toasted baguette.
Both lovely.
Polite, friendly service, all good.

Fantastic coffee and lovely pasty?s. The cakes are delicious. Warm and friendly staff who have just taken over the tea pot rooms. I will definitely be returning.

We were served baguettes which were the type that you are supposed to finish off baking at home, only they had not been baked. There was no garnish or salad with the baguette, we did have crisps but they were stale and had hairs in them. They were inedible. Cheese scone was over cooked on the outside and undercooked inside. Flat white coffee was nothing more than a weak white coffee. Really unimpressed I?m afraid.

What a gem. My wife and I visit Stonham Barns quite regularly and have done so over a number of years but this is the first time we've found this cafe. The cafe was spotlessly clean with friendly staff and with a menu that is ideal for morning coffee/afternoon tea or just a light lunch of sausage rolls, cakes etc. In a chat with the lady proprietor she said she was looking at the possibility of including soup on their future menu. We will definitely be visiting here again after recent bad experiences at the on-site Bistro.

Lovely place to paint some pottery. Very friendly too. Lots to choose from including Christmas decorations, tea pots, mugs, plates, hanging decorations, 3D shapes including a cat, house, shoes etc. Lots of fun too. Very welcoming to me and 4 young boys I brought in! They had a great time too.
