I've not been there for at least a year or more for various reasons nothing to do with River Green I hasten to add, all to do with my own personal circumstances. The waitress remembered me and the family from when we used to visit which was very pleasing. However it didn't fail to please, sadly some of the deli choices were not as substantial as in previous years/visits but this applies to everywhere in recent times.
The coffee is amazing, two mugs and my energy level was higher than it has been for some time, yumm. The Posh cheese on toast was terrific too. I can't praise the place enough, well done River Green ????

Warm & friendly greeting, alongside a fabulous menu choice of delicious home-made hot food and cakes etc. Deli counter and shop offering an array of foods to tempt and some great gift ideas too. This is my go-to place for a catch up with friends, breakfast/brunch with family or just to grab a takeaway coffee & cake on the go. They never disappoint. A must try.

Young staff were lovely. Lady made me feel unwelcome when I asked for dairy free. No cakes for dairy free only gluten free. Very dismissive of me. Won't be going again.
