Very nice pub in the middle of the countryside. Did a great job today for the Charity Motorbike Ride. Staff I spoke to were friendly and helpful and place was really clean.

Awful experience, food very basic and overpriced. No flavour, and everything was dry.
Shame as could have been a wonderful experience.
The tomato sauce bottle had been filled with something which meant when we opened it it exploded and everything was covered and clothes ruined.

Came for a pre booked Sunday lunch and although slightly later they welcomed us. Food was excellent, whitebait was hot and fresh, sweetcorn well seasoned and just burnt for extra flavour. We had roasts, pork was tender, not dry and still had crispy fat supplied with a good mix of roasted vegetables and Yorkshire pudding. Nut toast was also liked. Always attentive the staff kept an eye but did not crowd us. Historic pub within a beautiful location with outdoor seating. Highly recommended.

Had a meal with my family 13 in total ,felt very unwelcome and the meal was overcooked ,wouldn't be back and wouldn't recommend.

Had the ribs at this beautiful pub, they were the best tasting ribs I?ve had in ages and the steak sandwich was awesome as well. I highly recommend the food here - full of mouth watering flavour
