Had a great experience at Bury St Edmunds VE. I was having bad headaches due to my prescription worsening and the optician was very thorough in examining my eyes to ensure there were no other underlying issues, he also took further measures to ensure I did not have any signs of glaucoma (since it runs in my family). Overall, optom was fantastic and altered my prescription to prevent the headaches and improve my vision.The dispensing team were also lovely and took care of me. Since I have a very high prescription, they made sure they treble checked their measurements on my selected glasses to ensure the centre of the lenses are in front of my pupil (thereby preventing distortion or blurriness). They also advised me on the best frames out of my selection so that they fit well.I also loved how the insurance is now provided automatically on expensive frames (as I always had to pay previously).I would highly recommend VE and in particular this branch.

First time at Vision Express in Bury Saint Edmunds.From the easy way to book in store, having a good eye test, very professional and clear. Then buying a new pair of glasses good variety and fair price. To the staff sitting me down and explaining the price and cover. Everyone I found to be helpful and friendly and would highly recommend Vision Express to anyone that need their eyes tested.

Whilst the frames are good quality with a good selection, customer service in this store is challenging and problematic with a general unwillingness to help out with problems. Although eventually retecified, I waited for a 'ready to collect' phone call - after a month of not hearing I'd rang to check - only to be told they were in-store 3-4 weeks prior and "we sent a text" to let you know.

I found this store and to have very poor communication and customer service through the transactional process and unwillingness to help when problems occur with the frame/prescription

Simply fantastic service from every member of staff. I mistakenly booked at Vision express, when my corporate vouchers were for a competitor, they honoured the vouchers none the less. Customer service such as this is dying trend, thank you vision express team.

Very happy. Desperately needed my glasses for work. Was promised to have them by Saturday and I am happy to report that they stuck by their promise. Service was excellent ? I am still waiting on my contact lenses. They will be ready next week so holding thumbs ? well done and thanks once again ??

Had a eye check up for my Wife , Daughter & me . The staff were absolutely fantastic & were so helpful & informative. All our questions were answered . As a Diabetic my check-up & results were explained to me in detail . Cannot thank the Optician enough for his advice . Would recommend Bury St Edmunds Vision Express 100% . You won't be disappointed.

Quite possibly have just met one of the rudest person in my life. Asked for a simple repair which the shop has provided before but because the frames were purchased online he told me they wouldn't do it. I asked to purchase the items to fix myself and his response was I'm not interested. Customer service is obviously no longer used in this store. Hopefully its only the one member of staff that needs some training
