I have tried many times to place an order for a personalised house sign online. But the tool for creating a simple house sign never seems to work. I keep getting an empty web page with a circle in the middle going round and round. Very frustrating. Hopefully, with the Covid restrictions now being lifted, I'll attempt to visit a local shop -- and order a decent house sign..

Absolutely amazing staff. I wanted my Grandaughter to be able to wear a pair of wellingtons so that she could go out to play at nursery- she is only 3yrs old, but the problem is that she only has 1/2 a foot in her left foot and has to wear a splint every day for support and can?t get her foot and splint into a Wellington without a split in the side. I went into the shop with 2 different sized pairs of wellies- so that one would fit her big foot and one might fit her little foot with a splint on. I thought about industrial Velcro but this would have let in water- which the shopkeeper rightly told me. I could see that he was thinking long and hard about how to solve my problem and then he produced a zip which he said he could put in for me. He even went out and bought a pink zip to sew into her little pink wellies. Such dedication to the job.I can?t wait for her to try them on and be able to go out to play with her friends now.My daughter and Grandaughter Tiana are so happy with your work. Thank you so much for helping my family.Jill Smith

Went in and asked how much to replace a watch battery and how long it would take. They took the watch, which I assumed was to look it up on their system, had said (from memory) £18 to repair once £24 for life. They took it to the workstation and were about to open it up without me agreeing to the price, and I said I didn't want to pay that much and were like "oh! we were just about to open it" (they didn't even tell me how long it would take)I assume this is their tactic, to do the work without you agreeing the price and then charging colossal amounts to change a battery watch.Having said this, I'm sure the quality of their work is probably to a professional standard, (just not their sales tactics)

I have been to this Timpsons several times now in the last few months for numerous little things. If you have any little repairs needed, broken zips etc, pop in and speak to Jez.
Heâ??s the most helpful person Iâ??ve met working in retail and is a genuine, friendly bloke.
I wouldnâ??t go anywhere else now and will recommend him to anyone who needs some bits and bobs fixed or amended.

the shop was supposed to open at 9am but did not open until 10am
the staff were then most unhelpful and although we purchased a
lifetime battery for our watch they refused to change it do not use
this shop

My wife just had 3 keys cut at this shop and none of them fit, they are visibly different lengths to the original. I would never get a key cut from this shop again!

Prompt service and good prices on watch battery replacement and water resistance testing. Very helpful and friendly members of staff.
