“This shop looks unpromising from the outside but you enter into Dr Who's tardis. Floor to ceiling fishing tackle, course, game or sea is catered for. If you can't find what you are looking for, just ask and all will be revealed. All decent brands are stocked. These days we think that the Internet shop will be cheapest but many times I've been surprised to find that not to be the case. Often Tackle Up is cheaper by more than the internet postage. Staff are SO helpful and knowledgeable. Disabled access is a bit hairy with narrow aisles and steps but staff are there to help. They are closed on Sundays and Tuesdays. This is the last remaining fishing tackle shop in Bury St Edmunds so give them a try, they are worth it.”

“I would like to praise the manager and his assistant.. Kieron Turner and Michelle Byrne for dealing with a difficult problem for me . I can’t thank them enough, unlike the appalling treatment I experienced at the Costessey store on tues 29th aug ,the manager was extremely rude and had no skills at all with dealing with the public . I was upset and angry with my treatment . He needs retraining.Thankfully the brilliant staff at the Bury St Edmunds branch sorted everything out five stars and thank you .”

“Nice new looking store, which is convenient placed in the Arc Shopping Centre. But that's where the convenience ends, the shop seemed badly layed out with people always in your way. When you did find what you wanted they didn't have your the size. Way too busy.”
