UPDATE - Ipswich Sports direct branch much better. Really friendly staff who were really helpful and polite. Got refunded immediately with apologies. Same company but day and night difference between the stores. Advise go to the Ipswich store.Don?t shop here. Save your hard earned money. Refused to give me a refund after purchasing the wrong item - I went straight back in the queue realising it was wrong, I hadn?t even left the store with it, but nope won?t refund (not that they couldn?t they just wouldn?t).Kieron Turner the manager completely unhelpful and rude.Felt like daylight robbery

Staff in here are USELESS. They hide! An expensive Nike top was out of reach, couldn't try it on or purchase it because I couldn't find a member of staff to get it for me. When I finally did was told to ask someone else as it wasn't his area. Finally found a woman who was too busy to even look up to talk to me. I left, not going to give my money to this store! On way out, I saw 2 staff members chatting whilst leaning on clothes rails downstairs. Don't bother!

I would like to praise the manager and his assistant.. Kieron Turner and Michelle Byrne for dealing with a difficult problem for me . I can?t thank them enough, unlike the appalling treatment I experienced at the Costessey store on tues 29th aug ,the manager was extremely rude and had no skills at all with dealing with the public . I was upset and angry with my treatment . He needs retraining.Thankfully the brilliant staff at the Bury St Edmunds branch sorted everything out five stars and thank you .

Bought some adidas paces, only one pair left in the whole shop! Young gentleman believe his name was Leo. Astonishing service so polite and patient. 5 STARS!

Every time I?ve been in this particular branch I?ve been completely ignored when upstairs waiting to be served , today I asked for help and the girl passed me on to another assistant who wasn?t even assisting !!! It?s absolutely appalling customer service !!! They?re so rude and unapproachable!!! Who ever manages bury st Edmonds branch hasn?t got a clue , and as for the staff , they need a crash course in manners . Minus 10 stars !!! Appaling . They seem to begrudge you asking for help

Terrible customer service. Asked someone for a pair of trainers. He took the display shoe into the back then disappeared. 15 minutes later someone else comes out with the shoe to put it back on the shelf. Never saw the first guy again. Avoid at all costs

They dont have everything sorted by size it's all mixed and jumbled, so be extra careful checking every single thing you buy. Also mostly very low quality items. It's what you expect really with SportsDirect but even so you can get way better value for money elsewhere online.

Great service,the lady that served us at the till very pleasant and helpful,as for the young lad that was supposed to be helping the lady you got the impression he did not want to be there,and the lady had to ask on more than one occasion for him to help her....
