We used to frequent Pizza Express when my children were young, and we always loved it. As they got older and went off to university, we didn't find time to go.
A couple of weeks ago we re-discovered it with my son, and then went back there today for my birthday. We had a wonderful time! Vicky, our server, was just awesome. I explained to her that I'm deaf, and she was fab - speaking clearly, always checking with me, standing so I could see what she was saying, offering to help out in any way. And after our meal she brought over a delicious sorbet with a candle in and Happy Birthday written on the plate - no one in our party knew she was going to do this and I so appreciate it! Thank you, Vicky.
Highly recommend Pizza Express Bury St Edmund's - the Vegan menu was a huge plus for us and we will be back regularly ?

The team were very friendly and helped us choose the best table to stay cool in the hot weather. Our server Justin provided fantastic service, quick, friendly and very knowledgeable. Despite the heat there was no delay in receiving our food.

Me and my partner have been visiting this Pizza Express for years and it keeps getting better. We visited on a Saturday lunchtime, and the drinks, food and service were exceptional. The new general manager Andy has clearly had a great impact on the venue, so friendly! Vicky was serving us all afternoon, and is an absolute credit to the company. Thank you!
We sat in the garden and it was beautiful, but could do with a spruce up!

this is the best thing i have ever eaten and the crusty base i have ever had i love this place, and the chocolate fudge cake would be the best cake in the world so will this place

Jayne went above and beyond to make sure we had a table for 25 plus people as a surprise meal. It was a last minute booking as previous venue didn?t work out. From the moment I called to enquire, Jayne put my mind at ease and was very accommodating and more than happy to help. On the day of the surprise meal the staff were excellent. One the staff playing along with the surprise, which meant a lot. Huge thanks to Noah who served our table and made sure everybody was happy and enjoying their food. Thank you so much Pizza Express Bury St Edmund?s. You are super stars!

Went for dinner,seated on table for 25 minutes and people who came after us was served,staff is not aware whom to serve first,store is running without any guidance.Never going to come to this pizza Express in my life.

Such bad experience tonight. Came in at 19:10 , got seated at a table by the host and ended up leaving at 19:35 as nobody come to take our order , not even the drinks order , there were other people that came in 20 minutes after we did and ended up ordering their food and drinks also.
How can the staff be so inattentive walking past their guests so many times seeing that they are ready to order from the past 25 minutes and just ignoring them and take other guests orders that just arrived.
Wanted to also mention that we were very visible to the staff as our table was right in the middle of restaurant and they were walking past us the whole 25 minutes we have been there
I was very excited to have dinner here tonight , but unfortunately the staff has ruined our dinner and our moods.
