“Was told to book as really busy, turned up and hardly any customers, guess they needed to capture whoever came along.
Food was good although a gluten free option meant that something was removed from the dish rather than replaced with a suitable alternative which given the price I would have expected.
Beer was good”

“Helpful & knowledgeable staff, tech well beyond what you'd expect when buying a bed or mattress. Had my body shape & preferred sleep position measured with LIDAR, my weight assessed & suggestions made. Worth the time spent there, had some comfy nights on the new mattress since.”

“Have just returned home after a 4 night stay at Alder Country Park. The check in process was really easy, we completed our forms the day before and sent them back by email, so when we arrived it was just a case of collecting our key from reception. We were given a map to our lodge, and it was easy to find with a good sized car parking space. First impressions of our lodge (Deluxe Spa Pet) were really good, it was a generous size and clean. In the kitchen area there was a washing machine and a dishwasher - tablets for the dishwasher were provided (6) but no detergent for the washing machine. There was also some dishcloths and a spare dustbin bag. We were given a bath towel and hand towel each, but as there were just the two of us it did mean that we had spares. I did find the mattress to be a little uncomfortable however I still slept well. In the master bedroom there were two wardrobes with mirrored doors, each had a shelf and hanging area with a few coat hangers. The twin room also had a good sized wardrobe. There was a iron and ironing board in one of the storage cupboards in the hallway. The hot tub worked very well and maintenance checked on it daily. Although there was a washing machine, there was nowhere to dry things, we ended up hanging towels out on the decking area. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery and cutlery, although a few extra pans would have been useful, also the grill pan didn't have a wire rack with it so couldn't really be used. I would have liked a cafetiere to be provided too as I don't like instant coffee. Both showers had issues with the shower riser which meant it was awkward to get the shower head into a good position when taking a shower. There is a swimming pool and gym on site which you can book for 45 minute slots although we didn't make use of them. The site also has a restaurant called The Olive Tree but it was only open from Wednesday to Sunday so we didn't use it. In the town of North Walsham there is a Sainsbury and Lidl, plus plenty of cafes. The only negatives were due to Covid we weren't allowed to check in until 17:00 on the Monday and had to check out by 09:00 on the Friday.”

“Was looking for a specific bracket to put curtains up spent 20 minutes looking and saw a member of staff and asked her. She went beyond anything that could possibly be expected she spoke to colleges looked it up on line and eventually she found one hidden behind a curtain pole. If every store had Hannah's working for them maybe the retail industry wouldn't be in such a mess. If your boss is reading this, Hannah should get a wage rise because staff like her are few and far between. Well done Hannah !”
