Lovely hotel, great staff.Really enjoyed the stay.Only reason I gave the location 4 ? is because its a good walk from the town centre.Walkability: Good distance from the town centre.

Booked a weekend at the Dragonfly Bury as we had always wanted to visit the town. On arrival we were made very welcome and decided to eat dinner at the hotel for convenience. Although very quiet we were served very quickly and we felt the quality of the food was very good and exceptional value for money.Checking into our room we found it basic but had everything that we required. The room was warm, the bed comfortable, good quality TV. There was an iron and hairdryer available as well as the usual kettle with a good selection of tea of coffee. Bathroom immaculate with a lovely rainforest shower.Breakfast in the morning was again exceptional with a full selection of hot and cold items. I?m quite a connoisseur of a full English and I was very pleased with what was offered. On the outskirts of the town so a 25 minute walk but there is a large multi-storey car park which offered cheap all day parking and only five minute walk to the town centre. In the evening a taxi was only £6.30 each way which again was great value.Only two downsides, bar was fine but limited selection of spirits especially whisky and our room was overshadowed by some very tall trees on the neighbouring land which made it very dark even in the daytime. That said, we would definitely be returning as we really enjoyed our stay.

Freezing cold over priced rooms. Location of rooms not great such a trek from the car park with luggage.Rooms: It was cold more expensive than some chain hotels and location was a long way from the car park with heavy luggage

Can't fault this hotel apart from the lack of heating staying here at the moment, and whilst the radiators are on, they are on very low and not making any difference, though they have provided an electric heater. Rooms are very clean tidy with basic amenities provided.Staff are brilliant, very polite, and extremely helpful.Location is brilliant and a supermarket just over the road in case there's anything you may have forgotten.

Lovely hotel, the only slight downside was the temperature, the radiator could be adjusted but didn't do alot sadly! However the staff were lovely and gave us an extra blanket.Just a heads up when you arrive you must put your car registration into the tablet at reception or you will get a fine!luckily the staff remind you on arrival and are really helpful.Great for the Christmas markets! About a 30/40 minute walk into town.

Rooms are clean, comfortable, basic and cold.Restaurant has a canteen feel to it. Is also draughty and cold. Food is basic (popcorn prawns starter was definitely pre-frozen and were like the breaded prawns you get in the freezers in supermarkets!) Burger was tasteless and chips were not good. Hard in the middle and pale and greasy. We changed rooms as our thoughtless neighbours were very noisy playing loud music and shouting.Second room was the same so we just left. Why are people inconsiderate and thoughtless? We couldn't relax knowing the noise could start at any moment again, so we just left and drove 2 hours home. They take your money up front using a self check in, even though there is someone on reception which makes it near impossible to get any money back. We won't be staying in chain hotels any more and would rather give our money to businesses that care about their guests.

Room nice. Shower great. Lack of heating spliot our stay. Breakfast wasn't great. Nachos which they delivered to our room, because it was very cold downstairs, were very tasty (staff said it was cold!!)

Rooms are the size of those in a travelodge. Relatively clean (if don't look too close) and modern room decor. Rooms are quiet despite closeness to the A14. Reception staff were friendly and lots of parking in the carpark. It is about 20 minutes walk into town and right next to sainsbury and so relatively well located. The breakfast was a disapointment. They need to regulary cook the items fresh and not keep reheating things. Sausage and bread were a bit too cheap low quality. I would not pay for breakfast there again.

Not the greatest rooms. Feels like I should be paid to stay here. Food was rubbish with mould in the apple juice. The sausages were tasteless and the coffee machine was broken.Do not recommend at allRooms: Very low quality.Lower than basic standardFood & drinks: Worst breakfast I've had at a hotel. The juice was mouldy and no coffee as machine broken. The eggs were all broken and the sausages didn't look cooked. Do not recommend

Hotel room was lovely and clean , and looked updated . Shame about the breakfast, dirty tables , 1 person doing everything & with a very dirty apron on, no friendliness at all in the morning ...
