Four of us visited for lunch on Saturday. The food was exquisite and the service was impeccable. The entire experience was so beautifully delivered. It felt special to see the chefs move with such precision and expertise as they worked. We will definitely be returning!

If more than 5 stars was an option then Belotta would certainly get them.
Booked a table for four for my husband 60th birthday celebration knowing nothing really about the restaurant apart from it was a set menu.
The experience was fantastic and the food indescribably delicious.
Every course was cooked, plated and served to perfection and we really enjoyed The theatre of watching everything come together in the kitchen in front of us
My advice would be to get your booking in now because this place is almost certainly going to be booking months in advance in the near future.
We will certainly be back, hoping to try the lunch menu soon

Fantastic from start to finish.
The food is delicious and if the highest quality but not challenging.
We started with a croquette and a beautiful beetroot tartlet. This went fantastically well with a Hungarian sparkling wine which we had not had before. A ravioli with manchego foam was next. Then a very tasty sea bass with romesco sauce and asparagus. The meat course was secreto with morel and salsify puree. This was as good as the deserts!! Gin foam with carrot sorbet which was very enjoyable. Passionfruit, vanilla and chocolate made up the final desert which was a perfect way to end a meal. Then Petit fours came! Sesame macaron with white chocolate and lime and a chocolate and black olive chocolate.
The food is great, there is no doubt about that. What stands this place out is the theatre. There is a beautiful oak counter and the chefs serve the food and wine, with knowledge and passion. The kitchen is all on view and great to see. It is a restaurant that I would highly recommend that you visit.

We were lucky enough to bag a table during Bellotas opening week and had an exceptional Sunday lunch at the restaurant.
Bellota is totally unique dining experience, it?s like eating at a giant chefs table- except the chefs are also serving your drinks, taking your orders and recommending the wine. It?s like eating at the Chefs own home- a really good Chefs home!
The pork secreto was exceptional, as was the manchego cheese and vegetable ravioli. The passion fruit brûlée was also amazing -it?s so hard to chose a favourite course as they were all well thought out, balanced, perfectly executed as well as having an element of surprise.
The service and experience were also exceptional- Ruben, Gabi and Jack all talked through the dishes with pride and passion- watching the Chefs coo and being able to engage with them made for a very memorable lunch.
I can?t recommend this restaurant highly enough- a welcome addition to the Bury St Edmonds food scene

The food was divine, service was excellent. I was a little unsure about the seating arrangement before we went, but it works brilliantly was great to see the chefs preparing the food, all the staff were very attentive, the whole evening was great and we will return very soon
