We went with my friend for a pre-birthday lunch - it was really lovely ? The food and drinks were yummy, I was so excited to bite in that I didn't even think to take a photo ?

Fabulous food, great service and an interesting menu. Great little independent cafe in a world of bland chain establishments. We sat in the sunshine on the tables outside watching the world go by. The Sussex Sausage Hash was to die for and the Vietnamese Beef Sub was delicious. Such a friendly establishment. Good value really considering the current economic climate!

Popped in for a bite to eat.
Nice menu with a good variety- I chose the Mac and cheese fiery version! It was delicious: quickly served by friendly and helpful team, drinks were made quick and the food was fresh and tasty!!
Have popped here before with my two young boys and it was a great visit, this time was much the same

If you have family visiting or just happen to be in the area this is a must stop and eat kind of place. We went for breakfast and will definitely be back again.
After traveling all around England and Scotland this was by far the best cafe we stopped in.
We ordered a Carmel latte *chefs kiss*
BLT, Sausage breakfast plate, warmed cheese scone and a few other dishes. In our party of ten, every single person was happy with their order and service. Could not recommend this place more!

Love this little gem in bury. Both times we've visited food outstanding with great flavour combos. Had the jambalaya first time brilliant flavours with smoked meats, spiced well perfect fluffy rice and sauces. Next the Cuban sandwiches excellent too. It's small so go early to get seats. My boy is little fussy but they were so good with him and bought him exactly what he wanted. Thanks for the brilliant experience

Our favourite place to eat and drink in Bury St Edmunds. The service is great and the food is excellent. Would recommend to anyone to visit the Bay Tree.

One of the friendliest coffee shops in town. The food is superb, and the coffee is delicious. I truly love this place and cannot recommend it enough. The staff are so lovely and kind, and they always make you feel welcome.

Poutine (bacon) with a hot Canadiana Drink and a Nanaimo is the perfect order - one I have had a lot recently on my Saturday visits.
Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and very accommodating for your needs.
The friends and family I have brought recently to Bay Tree have all commented that the food is splendid and would like to go again when visiting BSE.
