Our favorite cinema to go to. It's so cozy and the seats are super comfortable. It's a small, boutique cinema so there isn't much food and drink on offer. But they do have a couple of taps and some good bottles of cider available. They have wine too.

Love the look and feel of the Abbeygate, a characterful cinema, with three screens films are not there long so catch it quick. The choice of snacks and drinks is good, discounted with membership which is reasonable but not required and if you want to make a whole evening of it, you can book at the attached restaurant!

Laura and Julian and the rest of the team were fantastic at our business event for 60plus people last night. The food and drinks were amazing, the reception/function rooms was perfect and then we did our presentation in one of the actual cinema room. I couldn?t recommend the team enough for something a little different from an event space.

Allowing under age children in, constantly eating crisps, is against the law and annoying. Toilets out of order, including disabled one., and hand dryer didn't work.

We've used this cinema more than the likes of Cineworld as it feels more personal and friendly, in addition to being a smaller screen an seating area.The sofas are a nice feature and make it feel more relaxed than a normal chair.The only negative is the seats / sofas are a little dated, clearly well worn (which is understandable) but could do with a little refresh.We've never used it but the cafe / restaurant always seems to be busy and looks nice.On street parking if needed, and a space is available, but well placed local to the town centre
