Visited for their monthly Thai night, great food and highly recommend their locally brewed beer. Prices reasonable and atmosphere friendly. No need to book, choose a table but does get busy! Dog friendly.

Great old style pub serving really good home brewed beer, the Gold is especially good.
Good mix of people, making a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of noise.

Dropped in for a quick bite to eat as we visited Bungay for the afternoon while on holiday. What a lovely traditional pub. The kids were just delighting at their chicken goujons and chips when the waitress came over and explained that a story book comes with the kids meals so they were even more thrilled.
Staff and the atmosphere were warm and friendly, food was excellent value and the loos were nice and clean too :) If we are in the area again we will be sure to come again.

Bit of a wait for my Thai food but was excellent. Green Gragon own beer was good and drinks really inexpensive.

Been coming here for a few years; well way over 20 anyway, so well overdue for a review. In that time the Dragon has never failed to impress in any way whatsoever. We come for the beer mostly, SIPA & Gold being the favourites but on occasions the excellent variety of great value food on offer also, during summers and winters by the fire. The Ploughman's I had today was as good as you can get anywhere, ever. Bungay and Suffolk in general needs to remain proud of this superb, friendly community local.

Great self brewed and realistically priced ales. Wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable bar staff with a really pleasant atmosphere. What's not to like? I really enjoyed my first visit and spent a lovely afternoon with friends. Well done to all the staff and brewers. This is a proper traditional pub without all the pretentious rubbish often found these days, I will definitely be returning.
