One slice of cake and tea for two over £10 was quite expensive I thought, even for Bungay. Is a nice place though with cuquaint courtyard garden and very good cake.

Unfortunately I didn?t get chance to eat here because the ?management? would not allow me to plug in my phone to charge it at the table. I had already ordered a meal and drink and was seated and the waitress came over to tell me I was not allowed to plug in my phone into a socket that was discreetly tucked away and not in use! I was visiting Bungay and camping so I am reliant on public places to charge my phone. I was spending money in there. Couldn?t believe it ! Not encountered that anywhere else in the Uk and I travel widely. Snobby and woukd never return.

Wonderful cafe in Bungay, the food is amazing and the staff are warm and friendly, giving it a homely vibe. Portions are very generous for food, cakes, and drinks. They have an entire separate menu for gluten free, gluten free + lactose free, and vegan! As someone with food allergies, this is a go-to cafe. They have breakfast, lunch, coffee, cakes, and macarons for those without various intolerances.
The cafe is also dog friendly both inside and out, and they even have dog water, treats, and towels ?.

My mum and I come here whenever we?re Bungay-way. I?m so impressed with this business, the service is so warm and hospitable (we wanted the lunch platter for two but my mum couldn?t have garlic so she offered us two different boards), the salads are spectacular and ever changing - today we tried the apple with sesame and pak choi and also a delicious coleslaw - and the prices, you can?t beat them. I?m so happy to see that this place is always busy, and the food always made and served with so much love.

Such a lovely , friendly place and perfect to sit in the shady garden eating gorgeous home made sponge cakes such as today?s cherry :) Highly recommended .. cake coffee and lovely flowers all around

The setting and the cakes are really lovely, the garden is a great place to sit, but every time I?ve been I have found the coffee and the service disappointing. To be fair to them this time I did mention the coffee wasn?t great and they did take it off the bill which I was grateful for, and as I said I cannot fault the cake and dessert which I?ve had in the past and has always been excellent?

Every time we go to Bungay we head here for lunch. We always have a brilliant meal everything is made fresh and the menu is always different and seasonal. I had the meat platter for 1 and it was delicious. I recommend this place to all.

We hadn't made a booking, but they kindly squeezed us in. Lovely courtyard under cover, blankets were supplied for dogs and humans.

Paid £27.50 for 2 scones and 3 coffees, which felt excessive. The coffee was weak and watery?more like dishwater than a proper brew. The cheese scone was decent, but not enough to justify the price.
I strongly recommend checking your bill before paying. In the moment, I accepted it without questioning, but the more I think about it, the more annoyed I feel. Since then, several people have told me they had similar experiences here.
