“I’ve been meaning to come to The A Shop for 2 years, since I saw their sign offering tool sharpening. I have my late Mum’s little shears and secateurs that badly needed some TLC but never remembered to bring them on visits to Beccles (where I also like to support the excellent Timpsons). Due to a recent change in circumstances I have very little spare cash so with trepidation I took the tools in on Monday. I needn’t have worried, it was just £6 to render my precious tools usable again, and they were ready for collection today. I suggest an extra donation to this extremely worthy cause if you need any sharpening done!”

“A friend ( who has early dementia) and I went into this shop yesterday and had a great time, the man on the till in a Christmas tie, (I think his name was Adrian), was very friendly as were all staff. This resulted in 2 happy customers with new dresses and a coat. We will be back.”
