The worst post office I have ever been in by a country mile, seriously. Everytime I have ever been in there you have to wait...and wait...and wait.They seem to have a permanent sign up saying " training Day"! The situation isn't helped when one of the women, the large lady, who moves at such a slow rate, everthing seems so much hassle for her, has her window shut and seems to be pottering about, at this snails pace and won't open the window when the queue is getting bigger and bigger. It just seems too much trouble and effort for her. They don't seem to care at all about customer service.Do yourself a favour and avoid if at all possible.

Visited today to get documents verified for a DBSThere were three staff behind the counter but only one was providing a customer service and she was new and still being trained. There were long queuesOnce called forward the lady in training was very pleasant but unsure of the service I required so reverted to her managerThe manager tried to argue that my documents could not be verified as they did not all have the same surname and would not listen to me when I said that the documents were for her to verify against the online information in my form which they would see when scanning the bar code. She refused to process my forms. I then took them to another local post office who dealt with and processed my forms within.five minutes. Poor unprofessional service and the manager should understand the systems and processes to follow. Also set a poor example to the lovely lady who was being trained. Avoid Avoid

i would strongly advise that if u bank with santander to not pay cheques in hear it takes days for the bank to even recive them then days for them to clear if u want your money just take it to santander yourself

Totally unacceptable service...staff rude and very slow. I would strongly recommend staff go on a customer engagement course. There was a queue of 10 people and building rapidly with only 3 staff supposingly working and only 1 window available. One staff member actually more concerned about making tea for the other 2. Will try and avoid using Beccles Post Office as much as possible in the future. Terrible Terrible Terrible...

I feel terrible for the staff. You can tell they are disgustingly underfunded. They all look on the verge of a mental breakdown. They are doing their best and seem to be at breaking point. It just makes me sad how badly they have been repaid for putting their lives on the line working during a pandemic. Do better W H Smith.P.S. NO social distancing, no limits on how many customers can come into the store, everyone is in danger.

People complaining about the staff being slow might want to consider how underfunded they are. I personally found the service impeccable and staff very friendly and efficient. But I have good manners so maybe I got treated differently. Thank you to the young red haired lady behind the till who helped me with my payment.

Awful could not care less staff. Rude and unhelpful especially the young male behind the counter today who was engrossed on his phone irrespective of the fact that there were people waiting in the queue.
