Very much the locals local pub on the Aldburgh sea front, doesn't do food but the chippies next door and the pub allows customers to eat chips on their premises (they also have a Pizza hut outside the pub), very decent pint of Adnams and nice chilled atmosphere.

Absolutely disgusting lack of common sense or compassion - freak storm was setting in and we wanted to shelter whilst husband fetched the car. We were going to purchase drinks whilst waiting - kicked out in the rain due to having 4month old baby with us.

Room was tiny and we were woken from 6am with the bin collection right outside the window. Avoid room 23. Everything really clean and the breakfast was excellent, but for £213 box room, unfortunately did not deliver on a good night's sleep.

We were told to leave because we had an 8 week baby in a pram and they don?t allow under 18s. Ridiculous.

We didn?t go to the pub, but it has a really nice pizzeria in the courtyard for a quick, easy dinner option. We went on a Saturday evening and didn?t have to wait long. Was a lovely surprise when the kids pizza had bunny ears! A treat for our children. The seafood pizza was very tasty, albeit a little soggy in the middle. Light crust/dough. Would recommend. We enjoyed ours on the beach, though with a little defence from the seagulls.
